We loved the location of this cabin. Close to getting into RMNP. Also close to food options. Very quiet location and awesome views.

The cabin was extremely close to the entrance to the national forest and had a great view from the deck.

We enjoyed exploring RMNP from this great home. The house is nicely decorated with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. It was clean and a great layout. The amazing views from the porch and great location next to the General Store, restaurants and RMNP entrance were a highlight!

Beautiful view and beautiful cabin! Perfect for gearing up before backpacking in RMNP.

The home was an extremely good find. Large deck with a fantastic view of Long's Peak. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms plus a cozy fire in the evenings (indoors). Unfortunate that there was no grill, but understandable with the fire restrictions in the area.

The view was fabulous, exactly as pictured online. The house/cabin was clean and spacious, enough for four people, although it sleeps six. We had family members who had their RVs at the nearby RV park which was very convenient as there was plenty of room for us to meet at the house for the evening meals. We had a couple of issues with kitchen supplies, this was taken care of in a very timely manner. Located about a mile from the main entrance to the RMNP. We were very pleased with our experience. There was a King bed in the Master, a Murphy bed in the second room and twin beds in the third bedroom. Surprisingly, the Murphy bed was very comfortable. Full kitchen. I think that the management company is updating some things in the kitchen, a positive thing as the mugs are old and dated. This house is located close to supermarkets, fishing stores, downtown.
Plan on driving to the downtown from this house due to traffic. One of my favorite things was having a pot of tea on the large and spacious back porch every morning. Perfect view of Longs Peak! The porch was large enough to seat all 8 of us when we gathered for meals. I have already mentioned this but it was one of the reasons we chose the house, so that we could gather. We would stay here again.
Manager response:
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the space and cleanliness of our home! We have passed your comments regarding kitchen updates to our local manager to review and we appreciate the guest's preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!

We LOVED every single thing about this cabin! The cleanliness, the layout, the literature about the surrounding areas, the wildlife, the comfort of the furniture, the location, the list is endless of the ways this cabin fulfilled all our needs. Just amazing. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful cabin in early June. Everything is cozy and clean. The views and back deck are exceptional! Only reason for a 4 rather than 5 is it is hard to cool down for sleeping after an 85+ degree day.

We loved our stay here. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. It had a great deck with a great view, and it provided all the “city” amenities we needed (for a party of 4). We’d definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful stay at the Longs Peak Lookout Cabin. The cabin is on an opposing ridge from downtown, allowing access to downtown Estes with only a five-minute drive, but being removed enough that you feel like you nowhere near the town or much of society. This location also has one of the best views of Longs Peak and its associated mountain range that you will find; truly a stunning view. The cabin itself has clearly been around for a while and has seen much love, adding to the whole rugged cabin atmosphere of the area, but has been updated to have all the little luxuries you actually want to have to make your stay enjoyable, including things like heated flooring, a refurnished master bath, several television sets, a very well-stocked kitchen with modern equipment, adjustable lighting, etc. Lastly, the cabin also includes a ready-to-use wood-burning fireplace (for smores) and a massive porch where you will want to spend all of your time to help take in the already mentioned incredible view. This cabin is a great place if you are looking for a place to stay with 4-6 people! Would definitely recommend it!
