Upon entering, you'll be surrounded by that typical rustic charm of a cabin that will surely help you unwind in peace. The first level of this secluded retreat features plenty of light coming from tall windows and a convenient living space with two recliners and a set of retro-looking sofas. This room gets its warmth from the space heater.

The second and main level of the home is where you can find the kitchen, dining area, laundry nook, and one full bathroom. The kitchen comes equipped with all the basics and essentials to prepare everything that comes to mind–the French door fridge and dishwasher will be quite convenient for storing groceries and helping with the dishes. The main dining table seats three and the kitchen island offers two more spaces. Off the kitchen is the second-floor deck featuring one of the greatest perks of this retreat: a private hot tub. The first-floor deck accessed by the second-floor deck features an outdoor dining area for four people and an umbrella and a private gas grill.

Back inside, and on the same second floor, you'll find a small nook where the washer and dryer are and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. And last, but not least, the third level features two bedrooms and a full ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Remote location and quiet

The house was great!! It was everything thing we expected and more. The views were beautiful and the wildlife on property was fun to watch each day. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Even though there are neighbors near by this property is very secluded. However when we arrived at the property the message board stated there were trash cans in the garage, there weren’t. We also had issues with the hot tub and a smoke detector. We reached out to Vacasa twice by email the first 2 days of our stay and then by phone on the 3rd day. We received no response to either of our messages and when we called we were told that a representative would call us within the hour or come out within the hour to resolve our issues. This never happened…. The trash cans in the garage were not a major issue and the smoke detector we removed the battery from so it stopped chirping, but left it not working which was concerning as it was downstairs and both bedrooms are upstairs. The hot tub was another story all together. There were zero instructions on how to operate the hot tub, typically they are pretty straight forward but this one was an after market control panel. The only instructions provided were the list of don’ts. After giving up on Vacasa assisting we were able to find directions online, which I’m still not sure we’re correct because it took the hot tub nearly 5 hours to reach the set temperature. Also when we got it heated less than half the jets would come on. Not the end of the world but frustrating none the less, I just wish someone from Vacasa would have at least called us to provide some direction. Hate to not leave a 5 star review for such a great place but Vacasa really let the owners down on our visit.
Manager response:
Hi, Kelley. While we are glad you enjoyed our home, we sincerely apologize for the difficulties you had reaching out to our team. The trash cans have been removed and the trash hoes into the garage. We have erased the message on the board. We are sorry that you had problems using the hot tub. Hot tubs are always on and guests need to push the buttons for the jets. We confirm it is working properly. The batteries for the smoke detector have been replaced as well. We apologize for any missteps, as it is never our intention to disappoint. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.
