We generally stay at the complex at least six weeks
This is first on the north side of the property in a one bed unit
Adequate fixtures- the ice maker never worked
The linens are 100 or less thread count.
Bath towels are small and thin
The outside patio furniture is hardly comfortable
And the indoor/outdoor green carpet is ratty at best
Screen slider was torn and needs replacement
TV needed three remotes
Bed comfortable
Every single spice was missing
TP - given two extra for over six weeks- we had to buy rolls 3-? As we stayed a long time the pool and bring directly on the ocean are fantastic
If the rates go up big time, the amenities must improve dramatically. Local onsite manger Vince is a rock star

Thank you for staying with us, Rick & Marlene. We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to share your feedback with our team. The homeowner has owned this unit since Mahina Surf was built in 1969, and our goal as a whole is to provide a comfortable place for our guests to enjoy their vacations. We are happy to report that following your helpful review, the owner has made many updates to include a new refrigerator, new lanai carpeting, new linens, and a new Bose Sound Bar with a small remote which provides enhanced sound when watching a movie or playing music. In our guest information, we do let guests know that a starter set of paper products and travel-sized toiletries are provided. Additionally, pantry items such as spices are not guaranteed in the home, so we encourage guests to plan ahead if they anticipate needing additional items during their stay. Going forward, we will be working closely with our new property manager to take care of any future repairs or improvements as needed. We hope you’ll visit again to enjoy these wonderful updates!
