We visited in October as the weather was changing and had a great time. The house was very inviting and had everything we needed. We hiked and biked. Spent lots of time at the lake (which is super close) and visited some great breweries.

Centrally located. House was well stocked. Our party had 2 families (4 adults and 4 children) and it was the perfect cabin getaway!

We loved this location. We were a family of 6 with adult children and were all very comfortable in the house. We spent our days out and about but enjoyed each evening cooking dinners in and on the back porch sitting around the fire pit.

The house is located conveniently to many things. We walked to the beach and miniature golf one day. We drove to Kings beach and spent a day there. We walked the Tahoe East Shore Trail. So much to do nearby.

Thank you for your prompt responses to our questions. We had a great time and hope to return next year.

Super comfy and clean. Great location. We already booked our next stay!

We spent a week here with our young kids and had a great time exploring all that Tahoe has to offer. You can walk to the lake, the proximity to hikes and skiing is excellent, and you can walk right out the back door to explore the national forest. Our kids loved sledding right out back! The house was very clean, welcoming and well stocked. We'll definitely be back!

We had a very fun an relaxing week at this cabin. We skied at the nearby mountains almost everyday. We took the kids sledding on a hill that’s part of the national forest land right outside of the cabin’s back door. We made great meals in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is super quiet which made for great nights of sleep. We’ll definitely be back.

This house was perfect for our family’s Christmas vacation. The location is close to all of the major ski resorts, walking distance to the lake and there is national forest land right out the back door for hiking and sledding. We’ll definitely be back!

Get location. Great place. When we arrived we got the wrong code for the lock box and garage door. That took awhile to get situated and it didn’t help that it was dark so it was tricky to find the house with the address. The only down side was the water pressure while showering and getting a steady temp other than that it’s a cozy house.
Manager response:
Hi Kaeli, thank you for staying with us! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the property and town! We regret to hear that you ran into issues with the access information and water pressure. Please know we have staff available 24/7 to assist our guests with any issues that might arise to attempt to make their stay more enjoyable. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to provide you with a true 5-star experience in the future!

It is a dirty place to stay at; unsanitary. Took pictures of cockroach. Pillows had slobber (from last guest possibly), and rug was disgusting to walk on. Hope they get this place cleaned up. Was really looking forward to this vacation and this place really messed up some of those memories.
Manager response:
We're so sorry you were unhappy, Jacqueline. Pest control did come inspect the home during your visit and were unable to find evidence of roaches. All of the comforters and pillows have been washed. Thank you!

We couldn’t have asked for a better rental for our Tahoe vacation! Relax on Pretoria was charming, very clean, stylishly updated and had everything we needed for a great stay. The cabin looked exactly the way it did in the photos. All of the beds were very comfortable and our kids loved sleeping on the bunk beds. The cabin easily fit two families with children and was just the right size. We loved eating in the well-stocked kitchen with a bar and bar stools -- perfect for feeding a hungry crew. Relax on Pretoria was centrally located and close to the 267 Highway and two grocery stores. We could easily walk to the Carnelian West Beach which was definitely a highlight. It’s a quiet beach, not crowded, and was perfect for our young kids to play in the water and use a kayak or paddle board. The cabin is also located next to a protected forest with numerous trails nearby. We loved the quiet neighborhood and sitting out on the patio with the fire pit after the sun went down. We can’t wait to come back to this rental again! Pros: Excellent location, walkable to the lake Quiet neighborhood Cozy fire pit Great proximity to hiking trails Clean, updated with everything you need Easy parking Comfy beds Perfect-size, eat in kitchen with bar Plenty of space for two families Located near two grocery stores

From the moment I walked in, it felt like this home gave me a big warm hug! It has a cozy feel, comfy furniture, clean, a fireplace and fluffy towels. This home is in a great location. We could walk out the back door to hike an easy trail, or go long on bikes. One morning we walked to the lake and enjoyed breakfast at the little snack/store. ( I highly recommend the breakfast burritos) Foozeball table…what house has that!?! The kids and adults had a blast playing teams! At the “Relax on Pretoria”, the owners thought of everything! I highly recommend.

My family of 4 stayed at this super cute Tahoe home over Memorial Day weekend and we could not have picked a better spot! The location is just perfect… walking distance to the Tahoe beach where we were able to go kayaking and mini golfing and enjoy the views. The neighborhood is just so cute, with little hills perfect for an exhilarating morning run. And the home itself had everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook delicious meals. We enjoyed fresh brewed coffee in the morning with the coffee maker in the house. The back deck abutted gorgeous, un-developed forest, making the home feel truly cabin-like — a real Tahoe get-away! We enjoyed wine in the evenings on the back deck, being warmed by the fire pit! And inside we were delighted to find an assortment of kids games which made the evenings that much more fun! We will definitely be returning in the winter months as the location is also so close to the slopes!

Wow! It felt like a cocoon in Tahoe separated from some tourist traffic ten miles in either direction weather Incline Village or Tahoe city. Highly recommend Tahoe City for a day/night of shopping, restaurants. Olympic bike shop was awesome and for runners/hikers Alpenglow sports. We walked to dinner (on the water), ice cream, miniature golf from the home. More importantly to us an easy walk to the beach and lake with an awesome coffee shop right at beach. Also, out the back door to as many trails for hiking, mountain biking to get to anywhere your fitness or heart desires. Truckee was our only excursion out of Tahoe and a easy 20 minute drive for a fun afternoon. The back deck with gas fire pit was our nighttime hangout and it was the perfect way to end the day. Kids rode bikes on neighborhood streets without a concern for cars, it was that quiet of a neighborhood. Use of kayak at marina and great hybrid bike left us no excuse not to enjoy all Tahoe has to offer.
