We spent a week in Angel Fire. The condo is on the ground floor (no stairs), has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and nice size lounge (open concept). Bedroom is the first room off of the narrow hall, then is the bathroom and the rest. The place is darkish, no outside light hits it. More or stronger interiour light would make it a bit livelier. Bedroom is small pinned right next to the entrances to 2 other condos and ours, kind of weird setup but we didn't have any major noise issues, only in the morning or evening when neighbours came home and banged the door but nothing from inside or outside. Almost meditative calm. It is very dark, no ceiling light and not much light from outside. Bed is of full size, quite comfy. Bathroom is small but ok for 2 people. Toilet paper was on a shorter side, we had to request more, which after a phone call happend fast. We never received the laundry door code, so couldn't use it. It was almost right next door. Would have been nice to wash some things after hikes but not terribly inconvenient. Kitchen is nice, we had everything we needed for breakfast and cooking, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, plates and cups, etc. Fridge is of full size, dishwasher a little bit smelly at first but then ok. There was some dishwasher liquid, washing up liquid, paper towels, sugar, salt, pepper and bottle opener. Lounge had a large TV with Dish connected, which lost connection on daily basis (recovered within minutes). Good channels with movies. Internet was reliable and fast, we did some remote work from there, no issues. There was a large sofa and sofa bed, place for 2 more people to sleep, although 4 people would feel cramped (but not impossible). Balcony was nice size, overlooking the small road and wooded park, behind which were the ski lifts (bike lifts in the summer), not even 5 mins walk. Bus stop for skiers was right in front of us. Great location, quiet surrounding, enough parking behind the building, where a nice wooded hill started. El Jeffe restaurant was there at the lifts, 5 mins walk. Place was clean, no smells and in overall, looked nice and upkept. More lights and more toilet paper would have been nice but we would definitely go back there and stay. The area has great hiking and biking trails, Taos is about 25-30 mins away, Eagle Nest about 15 mins. Loved the nature with many deers, chipmunks and various birds. There were also 2 restaurants nearby and few more down in the village centre, about 5 mins drive. There you have Lowe's grocery shop, gas station and walking/hiking trails. The hotel is at about 2600 meters elevation (approx. 8500 ft) and surrounded by woods. Great location.

Walking distance to the hill, good amount of space for the money made it a great value. Wifi was sometimes spotty and not secured, but worked well enough. Was a little dark, could use some floor lamps.

I loved how close the place was to the lift! We could hop off the trail to get sunscreen/snacks and be back on the lift in a couple minutes. The TV is HUGE and has Netflix and all the goodies on it. Nice kitchen stocked with all the necessities. The bed is comfortable. Lastly, the back porch was very peaceful in the cool evenings. Great condo!
