History buffs won’t want to miss a trip to Pearl Harbor, just a 25-minute drive.

Chop veggies and tropical fruit at the island while kids sit at the two-person counter to sample the goods.

In the evening, enjoy Pacific breezes from your front porch with a bench and two-person table. Sleep soundly in your primary bedroom, furnished with a queen bed. Enjoy a movie night on the flat-screen TV. Both bedrooms have A/C units to ensure a comfortable stay. The bathroom features a retro black and white tile floor, subway tile walls, and a tub/shower combination.

This charming Honolulu cottage offers a private entrance, patio, and peaceful garden setting with views of Diamond Head. Guests have private use of the cottage, garden, patio, and kitchen, with select cottages also offering air conditioning and a washer and dryer. Enjoy board games and a sound system during your stay, with a lit pathway leading to the private entrance. Conveniently located near Waikiki Beach, Kapiolani Park, and the ocean, it’s a relaxing home base for exploring Honolulu.

The neighborhood:
This part of Honolulu puts the active side of Waikiki within walking distance while still giving a longer stay a residential feel. Waikiki Beach is about a 15-minute walk, and Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Paki Playground are close by. Diamond Head makes a good early outing, while the KCC Farmers' Market is a useful weekend stop for local food. Downtown Honolulu is only minutes away by car, so practical errands and city days stay within reach.

Getting around:
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. A rental car is optional here, since Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, with rideshare and the bus system covering the rest. Beaches, shopping, and dining are often just steps or a short stroll away. Parking is typically available through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.
