Charming Queen Anne Studio w/ Serene Garden, 1 Block to Kerry Park

Serenity awaits at The Carriage House -- a luxury studio nestled in the lush backyard of a historic 1904 Craftsman home. Enveloped by boxwood hedges, lattice fences, trellises, and gorgeous gardens, this 8,500 square-foot lot includes a private patio with a babbling fountain as well as a large shared entertaining space with al fresco dining and a grill.

Tucked away in the coveted neighborhood of Queen Anne, this prime locale is within a block of iconic Kerry Park, close to multiple bus lines, and near fantastic parks, boutiques, and local restaurants.

Beautifully remodeled, this romantic hideaway pairs high-end modern touches with vintage character and charm.

High ceilings soar in the living area, stylishly detailed with an elegant lantern chandelier and original antique woodwork. A leather sleeper sofa ensures a restful slumber with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, while two armchairs provide comfy seating.

Flooding the space with natural light, large windows and grand 8 glass doors offer tranquil views of the herb garden, fountain, and cherry tree.

The convenient kitchenette is hidden behind a custom-built cabinet, which features a microwave, sink, Keurig machine, portable burner, and small fridge. This area also provides compact storage and a small clothing rack.

A built-in bookcase offers an assortment of reading material and information about local attractions, as well as additional storage.

A custom cherrywood ladder leads to the loft. Lined with a safety rail, this cozy sleeping space has a full-size foam platform bed and skylight.

Downstairs, the full bath is configured with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower with three antique bronze showerheads. Surrounded by windows, the vanity offers a sunny spot to get ready for the day.

The charming patio has seating for two in a peaceful and intimate setting -- unwind with a cold beverage and relax amid the soothing sounds of the trickling fountain.

Youll also enjoy access to the large patio adjacent to the main house, which features a propane grill and al fresco dining for eight.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and a hairdryer. Street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Walk 1 block to Kerry Park for iconic views of downtown Seattle. Or experience it firsthand with several bus line stops within 3 blocks of your home. While youre there, peruse Pike Place Market (2 miles), explore the impressive collections at Seattle Art Museum, and check out even more views at the Space Needle. The Seattle Center is also 1 mile away.

Youll find excellent gardens, shopping, cafes, and bookstores within close proximity of your studio. The hidden gem of Queen Annes south slope, Parsons Gardens, can be reached in 3 blocks.

For a beautiful scenic stroll, wind along the 3.5 miles of Queen Anne Boulevard and marvel at the sweeping views.

Elegant, comfortable place with thoughtfully and beautifully designed spaces. Excellent, safe neighborhood very near all amenities and small parks. Had a problem with bathroom sink leak but it was solved within hours. Wish they had sponge to wash dishes and no wire hangers.

The home was pretty, the home owners didn’t greet us as we were having problems outside & it was EXTREMELY hot, no AC. But my friends and I had a good time
Manager response:
Hi Serena, thanks for staying with us. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our home overall. During your visit we had a very unusual heat wave for Seattle. Normally homes in this area don't need air conditioning. We have added additional fans in case this happens in the future. We hope to host you again soon.

Lovely little retreat tucked away in an upscale neighborhood. Beautiful decor, convenient location just steps away from coffee & donuts. Perfect for my daughter and I - she took the loft and I had the sleeper sofa.
Wifi was weak at first, but was quickly addressed with a call to Turnkey. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Terrific location, cozy lodging. Clean and comfortable. But bedding is either a pull out sofa in the sitting area or a loft (accessible by ladder) in which you must crawl around (ceiling is quite low). We were two adults, one in each bed. Totally enjoyed our time there. Kitchenette is well appointed and functional. Just make sure you`re feeling agile and awake for any middle of the night trips from the loft to the bathroom and that the one in the sofa bed is okay with sleeping immediately outside the bathroom door. We stayed at this lovely cottage for a anniversary getaway and would come back in a heartbeat. It was the perfect size for the two of us and the location was amazing! We didn’t rent a car. We either walked or got an Uber. The only negative was the soft mattress but this is more a personal preference. Would highly recommend staying here! My wife and I stayed here while looking for a place to live in Seattle. It’s small, but well maintained and provides easy access to the Queen Anne area. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
