Loved the location and communication was great

Booked through Marriott Homes & Villas and expected the standards described on their site.
The location is great, the home is nicely appointed, there were several maintenance issues that should be addressed and the `COVID` cleaning protocol was not followed.
Visible body fluids and hair in all of the bedding. We spent the first 4 hours of our vacation doing the bedding laundry and cleaning the previous renters` mess. When we received the text from Turnkey on our initial clean review, we had not yet pulled back the sheets on the beds, or seen the overflowing trashcan. They offered to address it; however, we had already changed our plans for the night to take care of it ourselves.
The `clean` towels were folded wet in the bathrooms. The front door was unlocked when we arrived. Several windows do not close. Lights in the alley and bathroom were burned out or missing. The trash in the kitchen and bathrooms were full. With a 4pm check in and a 10am check out, I would expect that all of the cleaning should have been completed (we paid $300 for that in our booking.)
We really enjoyed our trip, but returning to the home was not something we looked forward to. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had such a great time! This space was perfect for our family and the location was phenomenal (we even loved your neighbor). We rode bikes and walked to almost everything during our week. The kitchen was equipped as one of the best vacation homes we`ve ever stayed in. Wifi worked great for ALL our devices, we appreciated the cable/tv options. The only constructive feedback we have is regarding the upstairs bedrooms; they were quite warm towards the end of each day, I would recommend some heavier duty fans for the summer months - we purchased a box fan and left it in the spare bedroom. Our stay in Steamboat was great thanks to this close-to-town rental! It was clean, had great space for hanging out inside and outside, and at only about 5 blocks from Main Street allowed us to walk or bike to shops and drinks every day.

Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, laundry capability in home was nice for our longer stay, and the electric fireplace/stove was enjoyed in the cooler mornings. We are already talking of our next stay here! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Location of this house is great, it was just a quick 5 minute walk to Downtown, which is where you want to be during the summertime in Steamboat. It is also the perfect, dog friendly, place for dog owners that want to bring their pups as there is a wonderful fenced yard. The house was very cute and eclectic in design, lots of old charm which we appreciated. There were only 3 minor issues, which were outweighed by the positives: 1) bed linens (blankets and duvets) hadn’t been cleaned from prior renters so we washed and dried everything, probably not enough time for management to wash everything between turnover is my guess, 2) internet dropped connection frequently which made working remotely challenging, should be easy for management to troubleshoot in the near term, and 3) on 80 degree plus days it was very hot upstairs where the two main bedrooms are so we slept downstairs in the small bedroom a few nights, A/C in mountain towns is a rarity, but for people who are used to sleeping with A/C can be a little challenging. The main floor stayed cool which was great. Overall, highly recommend a stay here, such a cute neighborhood and the full time neighbors next door were nice and welcoming despite our transient nature. We LOVED this house!! The layout is a total surprise! It`s a HUGE space! The kitchen is fully stocked, the bedrooms are greatly spaced for those who like to go to bed early. I will for sure be renting this place again. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Great spot for our family`s Fall getaway. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk down to Lincoln Ave. where we enjoyed grabbing coffee, dining out and visiting some of the shops. A few of our favorites: Backdoor Grill (happy hour!), Storm Peak Brewing (order food from How Ya Doin` Pizza next door and they`ll bring it to you), Winona`s (breakfast) and Ohana (souvenir/t-shirt). We also enjoyed hiking, an ATV tour, a horseback riding excursion and the hot springs. If your primary reason for visiting is to ski/snowboard, then you may prefer a location closer to the base of the mountain, but this was perfect for us. Our sleep was disrupted a couple of times each night to some clanking noises, from either pipes or baseboard heaters. That was the only bothersome part of the house, but not a deal breaker. A recommendation would be to have a blind or covering put on the front door for privacy since it is all glass. Very comfortable and well appointed house. Close, but not too close to downtown. Easy to get to, quiet and comfortable. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Our family of 4 enjoyed walking to town to the farmers market Saturday morning, dinner and shopping. There are great trails we could walk to with the dog. We hiked Fish Creek Falls, which was a short drive from the house. The front yard was perfect for the dog while we sat on the front porch. This is a very comfortable house with an awesome kitchen and we would love to go back. Oh, there are two bikes in the garage that we used to bike along the Yampa River. This home was such a wonderful surprise! It`s much more spacious than the photos show.

It has fantastic appliances, televisions, and sound systems. The decorating is tasteful and gives one the impression of it being inhabited but not like someone is living there. Cozy would be the word!

The furniture seems to be expensive as well as being very solid - especially all of the tables! And there are all sorts of table seating, couches, and chairs. The lighting is easily adjusted to personal tastes.

The kitchen is well stocked with nearly any appliance you`d want and what we used worked very well. The dishwasher was another very pleasant surprise!

The beds were very comfortable and there is extra bedding in every room!! No one will be cold! There is also a small portable fan in each bedroom which was a welcome surprise! The modern shades in every room all worked well also because your neighbors are very close! Speaking of neighbors, the people we met nearby were very friendly and helpful in suggesting sites to visit and places to eat! Very nice people!

The few negatives I can think of was the lack of grab bars in either shower/tub, chipped glassware in the cupboards, the folding door in the laundry area continually comes off its track, the smell of gas when the fireplace is on (we had this checked out and they didn`t find anything) and the wrong wrench supplied to adjust the seats on the bicycles that are in the garage! It is not wheelchair accessible either.

The alley entrance part of the neighborhood is somewhat narrow and trashy, with cut branches and weeds piled here and there, old and broken items littering the area and some of the nearby houses looking like dumps! But TurnKey has no control over that. Just be warned that the very cute house you are staying in is sort of a pearl among some swine!

The three of us were extremely pleased with this home and the cost was well worth i This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Lovely home within walking distance of downtown Steamboat. Beautifully remodeled, warm and comfortable with a lot of style. Beds were comfortable, towels nice and thick. The kitchen was outfitted amply, lots of dishes, glasses pots and pans and utensils. Highly recommend this home! Great home, nice kitchen, tastefully decorated, close to town, walking distance and lots of parking. Down side ventilation was an issue, very hot when visiting. Surprised by the extra costs from what was listed.

The home was beautifully remodeled, while keeping the integrity of the original home. The bathrooms were very small so I wouldn’t recommend a big crowd use this home. It was perfect for three of us. The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were luxurious. The kitchen has been updated with a nice gas range, new dishwasher, and a large refrigerator. However, a couple dish towels, one dish cloth, and a sponge are not enough, when you’re staying more than a couple of days. Housekeeping could have done a better job. There were dirty tissues under the living room couch, crumbs on the kitchen counter, and a small bit of food crusted to the neck of the kitchen faucet. We had quite a bit of snow before our arrival and had to shovel the driveway just so we could park and unload. We were one day late, due to highways closures so there was adequate time to have someone clear the driveway. I loved the home. The feel of the home was warm and peaceful and a very short walk to town and the ski bus stop. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
