The location of this home cannot be beat. It is a 5 minute walk to the Tahoe Donner ski resort. We visited with our 3 children (age 8, 6, 6) and they enjoyed the games, the bunk beds, TV with Disney plus, the bean bag chairs, blankets. The house is very well stocked (portable heaters and humidifier). We have stayed at this condo complex 3 times now and, though the condo is wonderful, it's the first time we did not deal directly with the owners which is our biggest complaint. We will not stay at another property that is managed by Vacasa (which is a shame because we loved the actual condo). First, Vacasa texted us 5 hours before check-in as we are driving to Tahoe to tell us check in would be delayed by 3 hours (and it was snowing at Tahoe Donner). They provide a limited number of dish detergent pods (not enough for daily), they provide 2 rolls of toilet paper (one was partially used) per bathroom regardless of how many guests and how long you stay, the keurig was broken, the toaster broken (not sure who is responsible for this) and the upstairs heating system was broken (had it not been for the space heaters the upstairs would have been too cold to comfortably sleep). But there was nothing in the listing that stated we needed to bring our own toilet paper if we used more than our allotted amount (one of the main reasons we stay walking distance to the ski slopes and bring almost all of our food is so we do not have to drive out in the snow to get things like toilet paper). In the previous condos and houses we have stayed in Tahoe Donner there has always been more than enough toilet paper and supplies. Dealing directly with the owner is a different, more positive experience in hospitality.
Manager response:
Hi, Eunice! We regret reading our services did not suit your needs. Guests are always welcome to call for additional supplies, and we have asked housekeeping to ensure there are plenty moving forward. The baseboard heater will be repaired by an electrician, and the toaster and Keurig will be replaced. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delayed clean due to difficulties with commuting through the snow storm. Your patience was appreciated.

There were 4 of us who had a getaway for thanksgiving weekend. Location was great and the kitchen had enough utensils and pans for us to cook a full thanksgiving meal.
Would have been nice to have some instructions on using the wood burning stove, but we found the model online and looked up the instructions.

Awesome location!! The condo was exactly what we needed with a 1 year old. It had everything we could possibly need and more!

The whole thing about the parking permit was a joke....all these warning that my car would be towed with no permit available is irresponsible by VRBO, Vacasa, and most importantly the owners..... We spent over 2 hours trying to find a parking permit, to no avil...only to be told to write a note and place in my car.
The coffee machine spewed water all over, so for 2 mornings we had to drive to fetch our coffee, nice.
Lastly, one of the blinds would not retract, this is a condo atmosphere and there is very little light in this home...
I have asked Vacasa for a refund of some portion of our $350 a night charge but although they seem interested when you can get them on the phone, they have all but forgotten.
Bye Bye Vacasa....
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Martin. We are sorry to hear of the details that were amiss and apologize for any inconvenience. We will work diligently to address your concerns appropriately for future guests. We hope we have the opportunity to impress you in the future.

This place was super convenient for access to the Tahoe Donner ski lift with nice accomodations and a quiet location outside Truckee, but close enough to quickly get to when you want.

The room is clean and super nice. The pool was drained and was not warned of that, if the pool was functioning it would have been a 5 star review.

This condo is cute, cozy and well equipped with amenities. Easily fits 5-6 people. We were confused over the parking situation -- the instructions were very strict about 1 spot yet there was no pass and summer parking seems way more flexible. Would have planned differently had we known.
Manager response:
Thank you for the review, Erika! The parking is permitted by the local ordinances and it is strict. The owner could lose their permit and the guest could be fined heavily if the local ordinance is violated. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again.
