Amazing rock climbing can be found throughout the park, but advanced climbers may be most excited by the extended crack climbs in the Merced River Canyon. If you're looking for something a bit more zen, bring binoculars for birdwatching or a fishing pole for stream and river fishing. There is also lake fishing at Pine Mountain Lake, fishing licenses required, but can be purchased at the Marina Store.
