The Treehouse is mostly bordered by the Nantahala National Forest - you're not able to see any neighbors, except a few rooftops in the winter when the trees are bare. This is the perfect retreat for families and friends. You will love relaxing in the swing on the covered porch with a steamy cup of coffee in the mornings or a thrilling novel with a glass of wine in the afternoon. The firepit, another great gathering spot, offers the opportunity to hang out with your loved ones and tell fun or scary stories while listening to the creek below and looking at the mountain view.
Inside this darling home, you will find an inviting, beautifully decorated, comfortable open great room with a large window with a view of the mountains. The walls and ceiling are knotty pine and soar 16 feet high for that wonderful lodge feel. There is a large leather sofa and two swivel rockers for relaxing while watching the 55' flatscreen TV with cable. The kitchen is well appointed with all you need to make meals for the whole family, granite countertops, microwave, dishwasher, glass-top stove, convection oven, and antler chandelier. There is a Keurig coffee maker that will brew a 12 cup pot or individual pods. The kitchen and dining areas are finished off with bar seating and a dining table under another antler chandelier. Also on the first floor is a sleeping porch with a wall of windows looking towards the view with two beds, a large primary bedroom, and a full bathroom. Upstairs you will find a second bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
