This three-bedroom home is located at the South end of Wallowa Lake and just a short block walk to the resort activities like the Wallowa Lake Tramway or the Wallowa Lake Marina.
The open floor plan of this home keeps your family together. The large kitchen with a prep bar makes your meal prep and dinner an experience. The large dining room table looks out onto the wraparound deck and a small tree'd view of Wallowa Lake. The inviting living room offers free WiFi, a smart TV, a DVD/VCR player, and a wood-burning fireplace. There is also plenty of seating for your family to enjoy their time staying at Applewood West.
The main bedroom has a comfortable bed and a beautiful primary bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a large tiled walk-in shower. Enjoy your first cup of coffee from a beautiful office located off the primary bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and massive windows that bring in the morning light. The office makes the perfect place to check your emails, write your life story, or just enjoy a book.
The kids' bedroom has two comfortable beds. Games, books, puzzles are just a few things that your little munchkins will enjoy while taking over this room as their own on your family vacation. The other king bedroom offers an additional guest bathroom with a shower stall that is accessible from the bedroom or down the hall by the kitchen area.
The large outside area offers two different decks for your family to use with a "thru the trees" view of Wallowa Lake. Also available is a nicely landscaped sitting area where you can relax and enjoy your days surrounded by beautiful flowers and landscaping. The end of the road location of this home is one of the favorite features we hear from the loyal lovers of this home. Close enough to walk to the resort side activities but private enough to feel "away from it all".

No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions but the propane fireplace is allowed.
Winter Rentals: We always recommend 4x4, chains or studded tires to get to our winter open houses. Some renters have better traction tires and can access the homes without them but we don't recommend it. Also, weather changes rapidly in our mountain location. We always suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers have the ability to purchase tire chains, and if you don't use them, will take them on return.
Parking Notes: Tight parking, 2 by the house, one on the designated flat area.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
