Recent Wallowa Lake guest reviews

This is our third year staying at the Queen's court and I hope we have many more trips in our future. You cannot beat the water access, nor the peaceful vibe and the non-stop view from the deck (and kitchen and dining and living rooms). They have made some improvements inside the home including the hardwood floors, trip reduction on the stairs, new chairs and some appliances since summer 2024. The deck and yard are in great shape and the neighbors were friendly. All homes in the area followed the quiet times rules while still having a good time. If you have a boat or other watercraft, the dock access sets this place apart from nearly every other rental in Joseph. As I mentioned in previous reviews, my only hesitation for other visitors would be people with mobility issues - there are several stairs getting into and out of the home and several within the home. The tread improvements since last year make it safer, but you still need to be able to walk up and down steps. You won't regret a stay at the Queen's court.

The house was clean and comfortable. The upstairs was great for the grandchildren. The location of the house was nice as we were able to walk to everything that we needed. It was just far enough off the road to be quiet and private.
