Fenwick Island spacious beach house with deck, W/D & full kitchen - dog-friendly

Welcome to Fenwick Island! Our family has been here since the 50s and we love the somewhat-vintage, cottage-feel of our home. Our parents remember when some of the homes in Fenwick used to be chicken coops and when there were very few stores and shops around. Fenwick Island has come a long way since then! It is the gem of the Delaware seashore where your primary form of transportation can be walking or biking!

At this beach house you can choose from multiple decks to sip your morning coffee, watch the sunrise, practice some yoga, people watch, or read a book with the sound of the ocean in the distance. Sliding glass doors lead from the decks into the main living area. The open floor plans lead to a fully equipped kitchen well-appointed with full-size appliances and ample counter space, so that preparing meals can be enjoyed by all. The dining area features ample seating, and more bar seats are at the kitchen counter. A rustic screened breezeway, just off the dining area, features a picnic table, offering a sunny breakfast nook or overflow seating for group meals. This breezeway acts as a mudroom and a great place to hang towels and leave sandy flip-flops and beach bags. The primary bedroom is connected through a side room off the kitchen then through double doors and features an attached bathroom. A second door accesses the breezeway. Across the breezeway are two more bedrooms (each bedroom sleeps three) which share a bathroom.

When it's time to hit the beach, just cross the street, and you're there! Boogie boards and beach gear can be found in the garage. When returning from the beach, enjoy the outdoor shower before heading upstairs to enjoy the sunset!
