We all loved the cabin by the lake. The extra mother in law unit/ game room was very nice. We stayed in November so the hot tub was nice. I don’t complain so I won’t not pick the small things. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was such a wonderful location that was well kept and just matched the mood of our vacation getaway. We enjoyed it thoroughly and were provided THE BEST service from Vacasa. They truly wanted to make sure that we were taken care of and were available whenever we needed them. This location was magic for us and was so conveniently close to all of our activities. We would return in a heartbeat!

This is a beautiful property. Quiet, cozy, private and relaxing. Minutes away from the lake. The game room is fun for all ages. Lots of outside seating area. Nice quiet area by to hot tub. Our family had a great time. Would come back and stay here again.

The home is a nice cabin.
We had a FABULOUS time on the lake!
Pros- pool table, miniature putting green, some basketball hoops to keep the kids entertained and a spa for the adults to enjoy. The owners put misters around the gazebo which is a nice touch. It was 110 2 days
The kitchen is nicely remodeled.

Cons:
*The home is on busy thoroughfare. So if you want the feel of a home away from it all, this is not it.
As early as 7am, people are driving on the road to grab a lakeside spot.
*There isn’t enough space to safely get off the roadway while someone enters the property’s gate code. People oftentimes drive very fast on the road.
This home doesn’t have a “water view” like the description states.
The beds are not queens & are smaller than what we needed for a couple sharing.
We stayed in July. The AC didn’t cool the addition on the house, and it was very warm in the master bedrooms of the main house. The temp got up to 110 on 2 of the 5 days we were there.
The safety concern is the trash can. We were told it’s dumped once a month. Unacceptable, especially where black bears and other wildlife are roaming. It was almost full when we arrived and smelled like something had died. It was difficult to the outside of the home because the smell was so bad. We had young children, and the threat of black bears arriving to rummage in the trash was a huge concern. Upon our departure, we had to leave some of our trash in the main house when we left because there was no room in the bin outside. Vacasa was made aware of this several days prior to our departure.
There was no propane left in the tanks to the bbq pit and we were not able to bbq on the grill unless we filled the propane ourselves, something we didn’t want to have to tend to at 800$ a night.
It seems the property management, Vacasa, does a disservice to this property owner. We ended up checking out early.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Amanda. We are happy to hear you overall had an enjoyable experience. We have provided your valuable feedback to our local manager. Please know that we have confirmed the trash is picked up more than once a month; unfortunately, during your stay, the company was not able to pick it up until the Thursday after you left. Our local team did come and pull bags out of the dumpster to allow more trash to be in the dumpster. Our local wildlife is in the area regardless of the dumpster, but we do have chains on the dumpster to prevent them from getting into the trash. The mother-in-law unit does have air conditioning, there are 2 window units and fans throughout. Unfortunately, with record high temperatures, the air conditioning units do struggle to keep the homes cool. The home does have a small view of the lake, we have asked our team to update the listing appropriately. We did bring propane to the home the next day after it was reported it had run out. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to impress you in the future!

This cabin was everything we wanted and more. Only thing I wish is that we stayed longer then a weekend to enjoy everything this cabin had to offer. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us ladies, bathroom and kitchen amenities worked out nicely. Close drive to the lake and beautiful waterfall areas. Would definitely rent again!!

Everything was like the picture show. The only con - was the mother n law house the breakers kept shouting off,my husband and to keep switching it back on.
Manager response:
Hi, Melissa! We appreciate you staying with us and apologize for the problem you had with the breaker. If both portable heaters are plugged in with the fireplace on, it does trip the breaker. Guests can use an outlet in the game room opposite from the bedroom if they need both heaters running. Thank you!
