Two Hawaiian cottages with Diamond Head views - walk to Waikiki
Enjoy the best of Honolulu with these two charming, vintage-inspired Hawaiian cottages, ideal for families and groups who want to stay together while still enjoying their own private space. Located within walking distance of Waikiki Beach, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park, the cottages offer a convenient home base for exploring the island.
Rent both cottages together for four bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. Each cottage features hardwood floors, tropical Hawaiian décor, a cozy living area, and a private porch with outdoor seating. One cottage also includes a barbecue grill, while lush tropical landscaping creates a peaceful island atmosphere.
Both full kitchens are equipped with modern appliances, cookware, dishes, ample storage, a center island with seating, and a Keurig coffee maker—perfect for preparing meals with fresh ingredients from the nearby farmers market, held every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Each cottage includes two bedrooms: a primary bedroom with a queen bed and flat-screen TV, plus a second bedroom with two twin beds. All bedrooms feature air conditioning, wrought-iron bed frames, and hotel-quality linens. Each cottage also has a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination and subway tile accents.
Spend your days enjoying the sands of Waikiki Beach, exploring the Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium, or strolling through the nearby Queen Kapiolani Garden. When you're ready to venture farther, Pearl Harbor is about a 25-minute drive away, while a variety of local restaurants and nightlife are within walking distance. Together, these two cottages offer a relaxed and convenient Honolulu getaway with plenty of room to gather, unwind, and enjoy island life.
Guests at Garden Cottage enjoy a private entrance and garden backyard across two charming cottages near Waikiki in Honolulu, with Diamond Head views from the grounds. A sound system is on site for entertaining, and beach access is close by for easy morning walks to the shore.
The neighborhood:
The cottages sit near the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, where Kapiolani Park adds a little more open space to an otherwise lively beach neighborhood. Walk to Waikiki Beach, the Honolulu Zoo, and Waikiki Aquarium, or head toward the Diamond Head trail for a classic Oahu morning. Kalakaua Avenue has the restaurants and shops when you want city energy, while the local farmers market is a good stop for fresh produce and gifts. It is an easy area for families who want major Honolulu sights close and beach time built into the day.
Getting around:
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. A rental car is optional here, since Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, with rideshare and the bus system covering the rest. Beaches, shopping, and dining are often just steps or a short stroll away. Parking is typically available through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.
