Lakefront home with boat dock, lake access, WiFi, private washer/dryer, & deck

This lakefront home makes the perfect getaway for your Bass Lake stay. Enjoy the private deck and private dock offering unobstructed lake views and access. The outdoor patio furniture with a gas grill offers a perfect place for dining under the stars or watching the sunset.

The four-bedroom, three-bath layout can comfortably accommodate everyone in your group, with king, queen, and double beds, and a futon in the office. This two-level home features two bedrooms and a convenient full kitchen on each level. The two levels can be connected or left separate - your choice! There is also a clothes washer and dryer, so you can afford to pack light for your trip.

Beautiful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away.

Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. We have no control over lake levels.

This place is in an awesome area, close to the pines village and in the spring/summer when the lake is full (hopefully) you’ll be lake front in a great little cove. The house is a little dated & has a unique layout, if you want to get from downstairs to upstairs inside the house you’ll have to go through one of the upstairs bathrooms & bedrooms but you could also access the upstairs from the multiple outside decks and stairs. The home has a ton of character and wonderful views. The road down to the house is a little tight be aware if you have a large vehicle. Had a couple minor problems, I couldn’t figure out how to get the hot water on demand started, the Wi-Fi was out and at one point a tarp covering the swamp cooler blew off while it was raining and there was a little leak in the living room. In all cases vacasa got people out there quickly and solved each problem! Shot out to DJ who came out in the rain on his night off to get the hot water going, thank you, much appreciated. Got this place on a whim the day after Christmas, there were 6 of us 3 adults & 3 kiddos. We let the kids take the downstairs and the adults upstairs. It was a great trip at a great place, would absolutely stay here again.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Anthony, and we are happy you enjoyed your vacation. We strive to provide our guests with an excellent stay, and we apologize for the issues you encountered. We, however, are grateful for allowing us to rectify them. We will continually work with our local staff and homeowner to make necessary upgrades, and we hope we can host you again and impress you better.

Great customer service and beautiful location, well furnished house.

When we checked in, it was 92F in the house. We called several times and Vacasa reps said that only a local manager could deal. By 8p we decided to find a new place to stay for the night. We checked back the next day after receiving a note that maintenance had fixed the AC and the house was much cooler. We were able to stay the remaining nights. I called Vacasa 3 times and every rep sympathized with us and said that everything was noted in our account and we should get some sort of refund but Vacasa continues to give us the run around. It’s a beautiful lake but we would not return to this residence and perhaps would think twice for any vacasa residences in the future.
Manager response:
Shannon, we are sorry to have been unable to provide you with a more pleasant and accommodating stay. We strive to have excellent, guest-focused service and we apologize if we missed the mark this time. We appreciate your feedback as a means to continually improve our services, and we hope we have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.
