Welcoming Condo Features Walk to Slope Access & Seasonal Pool - Dogs OK

Searching for a thrilling ski-and-stay? Look no further than this cozy one-bedroom condo with easy access to Okemo Mountain Resort, a shared seasonal pool and tennis courts, and room for up to six guests! The family dog is also welcome to join you here for an additional nightly fee.

You won't find better access to Okemo's 121 ski trails than you'll find here! Simply strap on your skis, head out your door, and cross the road to the trail to the Sachem Quad chairlift, which will take you directly to the slopes. If your trip falls during the warmer months, make sure to bring your tennis racket and swimsuit for the nearby courts and pool on premises.

Clean and inviting, this split-level condo is the perfect retreat from a long day of skiing and a warm refuge during snowstorms. Spend quality group time in the living area, where you can snuggle together while a crackling fire sets the room aglow or flip on the flatscreen television for hours of cable and DVD entertainment. You could also catch a rejuvenating mid-day nap on either of two comfortable cloth couches or head outside for some fresh air while taking in the hilltop views.

When it's time to eat, you'll find all the cooking necessities for homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the full kitchen, plus a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Nearby sits a six-seat table that's perfect for group meals.

Afterward, freshen up your ski wardrobe in the condo's washer/dryer, use the WiFi to share pictures of your adventures with friends and family, then
retreat to bed at the end of an action-packed day. Up to six guests are accommodated on a queen-size bed in the master suite and a bunk set with twin-size beds in a sleeping nook. Extras in the master suite include television, privacy shades, and bedside reading lamps.

Wake with a fresh-brewed cup of coffee in the kitchen, then review your day's plans. There's plenty of fun-filled activities during every season at Okemo, but if you'd like to explore a bit beyond the slopes, you'll find many worthwhile day trips. Head just a few miles east into Ludlow's charming downtown for a day of country store shopping and exploring notable sites. Bone up on the town's fascinating history at the Black River Academy Museum, pick up Vermont-made goods at the Wine and Cheese Depot, or lace up some sturdy shoes for a creekside hike to picturesque Buttermilk Falls. You could also take a scenic drive along Route 100 to sightsee in other quaint villages, including Cavendish, Baltimore, Weston, and Mt. Holly, each with unique, small-town appeal.

Reserve your dates today for an unforgettable slope-side stay at this Ludlow condo. Plan your next vacation in the Green Mountain grandeur of Vermont!

We stay for 2 night and it was very quiet, very clean and VACASA was good In txting on everything we need. A little walk to SACHEM trail. We love it and we can’t wait to come back soon.
Darrell V. Jan 2023
The location and the accommodations are as described
Julie G. Nov 2022
This place was perfect for us and our furbabies! Great location, clean and just the right mix of cozy and functional. Beautiful views too!
Frank M. Jul 2022
The condo itself was fantastic, as were the owners. Vacasa was a nightmare to deal with. They left us sitting in the hot Sun for two hours rather than give us the code to check in early although the cleaners were long gone. They didn’t communicate the the code wouldn’t work until we called twice. They could not have been less customer-oriented or less helpful. It was a terrific shame because the condo itself was fabulous. Too bad we had to go through Vacasa.
Manager response:
Hi Frank. We are happy to learn you enjoyed the condo! However, we sincerely apologize for any aspects of our check-in time that detracted from your experience with us. We do outline both times on our listing for our guests to be aware of prior to booking, though regret the inconvenience this caused you. These times are in place so that we can ensure our team has plenty of time to clean and prepare the home, as well as allow the home to have some breathing time between each guest's stay. Additionally, we are very sorry for the disconnect in communication regarding this concern. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we always welcome the opportunity to improve our service and truly hope for the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

Unit was clean and not too bad. Needs major updates to all amenities and appliances. Carpets and decor is very old
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Jeremy. We appreciate your feedback, and are delighted to report the homeowner has been making many upgrades and updates to the home. We hope to host you again in the future! Thank you.
Krista M. Mar 2022
I loved how close we were to the ski trails! The property had everything we needed. Towels and sheets, soap, paper towels, trash bags, even detergents. Super clean.
Debrah S. Feb 2022
This condo was perfect for our family of four. The kids had their own separate alcove with bunk beds (although be warned that there's no guardrails on the top bunk which is against CPSC requirements). Loved that there is a washer/dryer for our daily ski gear and that there was a working fireplace. Condo is straight from the 70s with older furniture and appliances, but that didn't bother us at all — everything was still clean and functional.

The best part of the condo is that you are walking distance from the Sachem Trail on Okemo Mountain. You just need to walk across the street and up a slight hill and you are at the mountain, no car or shuttle needed. I'd guess about 50 yards away. However, in early season you might risk the chance that the trail is closed.

My one complaint with the condo is that the upstairs unit floorboards are extremely loud and creeky. We had two different families staying upstairs during our stay and while neither were loud in nature, you can hear every single move, which can be bothersome at 5am in the morning when they are awake. If you don't like your sleep to be disturbed, take this into consideration. It woke up everyone in our family both mornings (and in the middle of the night) when there were guests upstairs.

Additionally, Vacasa management wasn't responsive. Not the units fault, but if you are someone who counts on management, be aware. The keypad didn't work and the phone support gave us the lockbox code, which worked. We were told that the local representative would reach out to help with the keypad so we didn't have to carry a physical key around. They never reached out. That evening, I received a generic text asking how our stay was and I inquired about the guardrail on the bunk bed. Again, I was told that the local representative would reach out. Again, never heard from anyone. While these were very minimal problems and didn't impact our stay at all, if there is a real problem, I am not sure how responsive the local Vacasa representative will be.

With all that being said, we'd absolutely stay here again, but knowing that there's a good chance we will be woken up early if there's a guest staying in the upstairs unit.
Manager response:
We're glad you stayed with us, Debrah! We would like to apologize for being slow to respond due to being short-staffed. Our property manager will be discussing the bunk bed rails with the homeowner. Thank you!

Short walk to the Sachem run, a nice way to start the day. Condo is spacious and comfortable--we especially enjoyed the nook with bunk beds after a long day on the slopes.
Michael R. Oct 2021
I loved it all thanks
Carolyn A W. Oct 2021
I loved this cabin it was so beautiful and nice. The view was breathe taking. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you
Mara R. Jul 2021
Good location. Great for families who are on a budget.
Anna M. Jun 2021
Family of 4 and our dog stayed here in June. Temps were in the 90s- there was no AC so it was a bit uncomfortable. The pool was great, but the gate is locked and we were not told the door code. Luckily other renters helped us. The unit was fine- but it was definitely outdated and could use some updates. Trash compactor was broken, toilet was wonky. Washer/dryer was great. Kids loved the bunk beds. Queen bed was comfy. Would love to come back during ski season!
Manager response:
Hi, Anna! The code for the pool gate is located in the amenities notes in the guest portal. The knob on the trash compactor does occasionally get stuck, but the compactor does work. Thank you!
Nick N. Jun 2021
Pet friendly, quiet with great views. Pool was spacious and plenty of room for the family. Would go back again!!
Mathew L. Dec 2020
We had a great time at the unit. It had everything we need for a great ski vacation. Plenty of space for our equipment and a nice fireplace. The only negative was that the trail that is walking distance from the unit was closed so we had to drive each day. That was nobody’s fault but the weather, however it did take away the units largest appeal
Yelena B. Oct 2020
We very much enjoyed our stay. The additional exit through the living room door is very helpful when one has a dog. Easy in an d outs. Everything in the apartment was in perfect working order . The bed was comfortable. The area pleasant and allowing for sufficient privacy.
Penny W. Aug 2020
My two kids and I stayed here for three nights...letting us have our little terrier was a bonus; washer/dryer extra bonus! Yes some of the appliances are a bit dated but everything worked great. Toilet could flush better and some of the pots def need to be replaced but for the price and location this place was awesome! I would stay here again :) THX
Joel R. Mar 2020
The walk to and from the Sachem trail maybe longer than described but was completed with little difficulty by this 70 year old. The condo was adequate but shows a lot of wear. The was not a cooked kitchen.
Kristi C. Mar 2020
Loved that our dog could join us! This is rare to find a rental that allows dogs. Property very clean, and master bed surprisingly firm and bedding comfortable!
Steve K. Mar 2020
Great place. Love ski in/out.
Rosemary S. Feb 2020
The condo was the perfect size. The accommodations were great. Comfy bed, clean kitchen, great fireplace, washer/dryer for our convenience...
Mark R. Jan 2020
Really enjoyed our stay and would go again. Dog-friendly policy was a huge deal for us. Thank you for offering that. Maybe a football field’s length walk to Sachem Trail. Very easy to get on mountain. Roads were fine when we were there and it did snow a good deal overnight one day....but roads were cleared fast and plenty of sand on road to keep it safe. But could see going up and down hill to condo being an issue in real bad weather. Condo was clean. Great family/tv room. Plenty of room to stretch out for family of 4. Kids loved the bunks. Kitchen appliances (stove) could use some updating. Had hard time getting pot to boil to make pasta one night. And the one toilet did not flush all that perfectly. But worked. Family was very happy overall. Hope to stay again.
Jacqueline Q. Jan 2020
Easy ski out from condo. Perfect set up of beds. Good directions to get there. The management company was wonderful to work with. We would stay there again
Jamie G. Jan 2020
Very happy with this property - 1 BR, with a kitchen, dining room, and two bunks, plus washer/dryer. Rollout bed in the couch worked well for one of our kids. Two-minute walk to the Sachem trail, where you can ski straight to the lift or to the Okemo lodge. The only thing we wish was different is that the walls are thin, and can hear the neighbors in the adjoining upstairs property - sounded like they let their kids walk around in ski boots all night. Otherwise, very convenient, and happy that the driveway was plowed regularly.
James M. Dec 2019
The Condo was well equiped with WIFI, DVD 2 Tv's etc.. Great Location
Jessika H. Oct 2019
Everything was great and the condo had everything we needed. We brought our 65lb dog with us and he also enjoyed his stay :). We stayed at a lower level apartment so we could hear our upstairs neighbors... Thankfully our neighbors went to bed about the same time we did. At first our dog was a little on edge because he’s not used to hearing noises above the ceiling but soon he chilled out and went to bed. We would definitely book again if we visit the Okemo Mountains again.
CAROLYN F. Sep 2019
Everything was perfect. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the master bedroom was very comfortable. Great location. Thanks!!
Guy G. Apr 2019
100% as advertised - 50 yards from slopes and plenty of room in the apt.

Stayed with my daughter, who used the bunk bed and loved it.
Kim K. Apr 2019
This place is perfect for a little ski get away. We had 5 People comfortably. Justine the property manager was extremely helpful. Even the neighbors were friendly. Would rent again!
Susan M. Mar 2019
This was a nice unit for the price. It was clean and had everything you need. The bunk room was fine for our 2 teenage kids. The walk to the trail was a bit far though
Takahiro Y. Feb 2019
Unit was across a short walk across the street to the Sachem trail. Plenty of room for one family, clean.
Patrick K. Jan 2019
Very nice to walk to the slopes. Bigger condo than we expected and worked great for our family of 4
Jason R. Jan 2019
Great location
Kevin L. Dec 2018
Location is great. Short walk to Sachem trail.
Max R. Dec 2018
Nice cabin that turned out to be more spacious than the virtual tour suggested! We enjoyed the fireplace and appreciated being able to ski almost all the way to the door.
jonathan s. Oct 2018
Lynda F. Jun 2018
The location was nice and because of the time of year, it was so quiet with no one else around. The condo was clean and comfortable!
Timothy C. Apr 2018
Short walk to the slopes
Brent I. Mar 2018
Excellent location and very handy condo with all the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!!
Todd N. Feb 2018
Great place to stay in a short walking distance to a trail.
Kendra B. Jan 2018
Very Clean and nice condo with easy access to the slopes. Perfect location . Definitely would stay here again! Great value.
Nicholas R. Jan 2018
Very good and convenient
Nicole P. Jan 2018
The unit was horribly insulated. You could feel cold wind blowing from the windows and you could hear absolutely everything going on upstairs. No firewood is provided so we had to go find our own. Without the fireplace the unit took forever to heat up. The breaker constantly popped in the bathroom. Overall a very dated unit. The only positive was walking distance to the sachem trail. We also spent two days listening to a dog bark constantly upstairs.
Christine G. Feb 2017
Clean and easy access to Sachem Trail.
Comfortable beds.
Mark A. Feb 2017
The house was more then enough for a 3 day or longer ski vacation for a family of four. We been coming to Ludlow for the past 6 years in the summer and rent a house on Lake Rescue. This was our first trip to Okemo in the winter to ski. We really enjoyed the close assess to the slopes in walking distance and not have to worry about parking. This was good because is snow 17 inches our first day!
Pro's: The house was found in a clean and neat order. Linens, towels, and the basic essentials were found as if we stayed in a hotel. It had two newer flat screen TV's. One in the family room and one in the bedroom. Internet. The bunk beds worked for the kids. We enjoyed the fireplace after a day at the slopes.
Con's : The only con's that I have is there was no shuttle service offered to pick us up and go to other parts of the mountain. The house could use some updating but overall this house was in good condition.
Tom A. Feb 2017
The condo was just right for a quick weekend with our teenage daughter and her friend. Close to the slope and furnished with everything we needed.

The girls got a kick out of sleeping in the bunk bed in the "closet".

The only drawback was the noisy upstairs neighbors with kids being kids and running and jumping around at night and in the morning.
Noreen L. Jan 2017
We had trouble finding the address. Better directions would have been appreciated. Nice place but we would NEVER stay there again because it was on the lower level and we had 2 condos on top of us - one on either side. It sounded like they were either: herding elephants; bowling; or playing 8v8 basketball or tag with their ski boots on all day/night. VERY VERY loud. Condo is cheaply made and there is no sound proofing whatsoever.
