The building offers an elevator, disabled parking spot, and accessible-height features for easy access. Beach access and landscaped grounds with a garden round out the on-site amenities.

The neighborhood:
Sugar Beach Resort sits between the easygoing coast of North Kihei and Maalaea’s activity hub. Walk the beach in the morning, visit Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge for a slower nature break, or head to Maalaea Harbor for an ocean trip and the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei brings more choices for groceries, coffee, and casual meals, plus the family-friendly beach-park atmosphere at Kamaole Beach Park III. The location makes it easy to balance beach time with a few memorable outings.

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
