My son and I decided to get away from everyone and just do our own Thanksgiving this year.. he’s in Alabama working, I’m in C FL… so halfway between us was Carrabelle and I found this absolute gem of a rental and booked immediately! We brought nothing but food and clothes and we had everything else we needed there! Absolutely heaven!! The peace and quiet, serenity and privacy, yet close to so much nature and adventure!
We enjoyed the fire pit because it was so chilly and we left wood for the next renters..
This place reminded me of the simpler times at my granny’s house. I love the vintage decor!! We enjoyed our few days there SO much, we are already trying to figure out next stay hopefully SOON!!’
10 out of 10 if you’re simple like we are, love nature, no hustle and bustle or big box stores and traffic!! Absolutely perfect.! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us 🫶🏼❤️

My family and I stayed at Sunrise Shores in November 2025, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The photos just don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person.
The house was spotless and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We cooked all our meals in the gorgeous chef’s kitchen, which had every pot, pan, and utensil you could imagine. Cooking while watching the ocean just beyond the windows was such a dream.
Check-in was a breeze, and the property management team was amazing. So friendly, responsive, and on top of everything.
The master suite might be the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in. Having almost an entire floor to ourselves felt so peaceful, and the extra washer and dryer in the master bathroom was such a convenient touch.
The private fishing dock and the sense of total privacy made the whole stay feel extra special. We had the beach practically to ourselves and saw dolphins swimming by every single day, sometimes more than once.
We truly had the most amazing time. I honestly can’t think of a single thing that could have made it better because the owners have truly thought of everything. Sunrise Shores gave our family such a memorable and meaningful vacation, and we can’t wait to come back again

They had everything we needed for a great stay. They provided extra towels, linens, cookware, and pillows. Great location, close to the beach and quiet! We really enjoyed our stay!
