We had a wonderful stay at Jack Bear's Cabin! The interior was beautifully decorated, clean and well-equipped, but the outdoor deck truly stole the show. The large fireplace and hot tub make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy, memorable getaway.

As the "Executive Director of Family Fun" (25 years experience!), I highly recommend the Blue Ridge Bear Bungalow. It achieved the impossible: keeping our large family together while providing strategic separation. The location is fantastic—secluded and quiet, but only minutes from Downtown. We loved hearing the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway chug past the back of the property! The cabin layout was perfect for our multi-generational group: Richard's mother was comfortable on the main floor, and the whole family (including my sister-in-law) really enjoyed our mystery game—the space gave us plenty of room to hide clues! Our adult sons (plus one girlfriend) claimed the downstairs game room. The true genius? Direct hot tub access from the lower level, allowing Richard and me to sneak away for a peaceful soak without interrupting their gaming chaos. A massive, non-negotiable win: this place was super clean, easily the cleanest cabin we’ve rented in 25 years—inside and out (even the stove!). Vacasa management was seamless. Check-in was effortless (even for us tech-challenged folks!), customer service was a quick click away, and adding an extra day was completely simple. While the main bed was a bit firm and the living room lacks recliners (a minor tragedy for Richard!), the overall comfort, great kitchen, and easy fireplace made this a fantastic stay. We loved it and will be back!

My husband and I have been together for almost 19 years. We've never been on vacation or just took time for us. Finally made plans to rent a cabin. This one stood out for both of us. The indoor hot tub was amazing. The TV was smaller than what I expected, but didn't ruin the trip. The view from the living room was absolutely beautiful. It was also fully stocked with dishes, which surprised me. Will most definitely be back
