The cabin was nice and comfortable. Although the decor was dated, it was still nicely furnished. I like that there were plenty of plates, mugs and glassware to use, but we did find that the cooking equipment could use some upgrade. For example, the microwave door kept getting stuck on us, making heating food cumbersome. The stove vent made a lot of noise but didn't seem to work well or at all and at some point just turned off by itself. The knives and cooking utensils could also use upgrades. The knives were dull, there was no kitchen sheers or pot holders and there weren't enough utensils so we had to wash constantly. In the primary bedroom, my partner and I kept accidently hitting the bed frame with our shins or toes because it's a king size but the mattress is a queen. However, we did find the mattress to be comfortable to sleep in and the bedding was adequate to keep us warm. The showers were nice. We love that there's ample of hot water but at times it does get scalding hot. The complimentary shampoos, conditioners and body soaps were a nice convenient touch. And there were ample of towels as well. The loft was cute and had more than enough number of beds to accommodate my friends. On a side note, we didn't realize there was a 2nd bedroom with a queen until a couple of days before our check in. The initial description did not specify that this unit is a 2 bedroom plus a loft which did affect our planning a bit. It was a pleasant surprise but I wish we knew this information when we booked it. The kitchen could use a bit more cleaning because we found some kitchen supplies needed extra washing. It could also use more cooking pots, particularly larger pots to cook for larger group of guests.
Overall, the cabin provided our basic needs. The location is perfect being that it is walking distance to Vons and other shops and restaurants and also walkable to the Red Line bus stop which takes you to the ski resorts and The Village.
