This condo was fantastic. It had classic beach vibes and everything you need for a lovely vacation. The unit isn’t remodeled like some in the building, but it adds to the charm making it feel like home away from home. The beds were firm but comfy and there were plenty of towels and beach toys (Tommy bahama chairs, boogie board, etc) available to use. Would rent again!

The Mana Kai's location to the beach is great and their staff is amazing. I love that they offer reclining lawn chairs for the lawn and have so many. The view from unit is incredible. With the construction going on at the restaurant, it's nice to be on the 6th floor. (They do mention the construction when booking and it did not bother us, that's the sound of progress!)
This unit that has not been updated as much as some of the others, the kitchen area is a bit dark due to the under counter lighting is missing on one side. (its under the sink and I let Vacasa know, so hopefully it gets repaired soon, it either needs a new bulb or a whole new ballast, the light flickered. My husband being the handy man tried to re install it) The mattress is very firm, the part that holds the mattress inside the bed frame is funky, when the person next to you rolls over the whole mattress wobbles, not my favorite but luckily your so tired from beaching you fall right back to sleep! The air condition works great although we barely used it we preferred to leave the doors open with the screens shut and the ceiling fans running when we were in the unit.
The biggest problem was the door code didn’t work when we arrived, we came in late at night and it took 45 minutes to get in our room and it was raining. We were tired and frustrated. Everyone who worked the night shift at Vacasa were very nice though, we had to work with a second person to get it worked out. I think if you were renting the whole unit this probably would not be a problem It appears that the lock system for this unit has a unique setup—codes generated for the “A” door only work if they are specifically created for the “C” door. The code for the “C” door, however, does work for both the main and “A” doors. (copy and paste this to your notes in case this happens to you, so you can explain it to the Vacasa person on the phone or text)
We had plenty of towels and bedding and there is pay washer and dryer close by so you don't need to pack a lot, the unit has laundry detergent as well.
Overall I don't think you can go wrong with this unit as long as you're not bougie! The price is the important part and if you are like us you're out and about and on the beach. the room is for sleeping, eating and showering.
