My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend here and had a lovely time! Everything was clean, Don, the host, is very kind, and everything was easy access :)
This is the second time I've visited Aurora, NC and I feel like I got to see more of what it has to offer this time around. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to find a peaceful weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. It offers a great view of the Pamlico River with a basin to keep boats docked off the main river. The house is well designed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

We loved every facet inside and out of this special space. The views of the inter-coastal waterway from the spacious covered porch/deck and the upstairs double window provided all the entertainment we needed. Take your food, your reading materials and your fishing poles and forget about the hustle bustle you're leaving behind. We were equal distance (45 mins) to the vibrant historic towns of Washington (NW) and New Bern (SW), so it's perfect for day trips. Our only regret was how quickly the days passed before we had to leave.
