I am not sure if it was mentioned in your website, but you should inform out of town guests that the first skate parks in Portland is located just under the Burnside bridge. Not a skater myself, but I know that people come from all over the world to skate at that park.

The constant rain was a drag during our trip to Portland. It was also disheartening to see so many homeless people all over the city, laying on the sidewalks and in storefronts.

We loved the convenience of downtown. Close to many restaurants and attractions.

There are great restaurants all over Portland. You can't really miss on that one. One thing for future guests to note; the car sharing services (Uber, Lyft), have a difficult time locating the building as there are several one way streets, and the bridge entrance nearby. I recommend leaving an extra 15 minutes when leaving for them to find you.

We enjoyed all of the revitalization going on in the city. So many places to grab coffee, cocktails or or a meal. Old Town was awesome too. We enjoyed the Stevie Nicks concert at the Moda Center the first night. Wish we had more than 3 days. But now we'll have to plan our trip back!

A nice discovery was the Cup and Bar cafe 2 blocks from the Yards. It served fantastic small dishes, pastries, chocolate and coffee. A great way to get around the city was using the bike sharing service provided by Biketown. Portland is a fantastic city to explore by foot, bike and public transit.

First of all, the Portland MAX light rail train stop was about 30-seconds front the front door of the condo. We travelled from the Portland Airport to the front door of the Park Avenue West Building via MAX in about 45-minutes. Jake's Grill, The Multnamah Whiskey Library and Powell's Bookstore were nearby and phenomenal. Plus the Target Superstore was 70-yards from the condo. In fact, the bldg had a parking garage in the basement too if one wants to rent a car and park it.

Multnomah Whiskey Library, Powell's Books are excellent places to spend some hours at. The cable car up to OHSU gives you an unusual view. Transit day passes are the way to get around - no need for a car in Portland. A find was a day trip on transit to Gresham - a lovely old town center with shops, restaurants and other photo ops.

This location is very close to the courthouse, which is a location frequented by protesters. Every night we heard protesters and police officers engaging the protesters via the loud speaker. Authentic Portland experience, yes, but tough when you have to plan around violent protesters and people getting shot down the street.

We just moved away from Portland a year ago and we were able to visit some of our favorite spots. Timbers game, dinner at Jakes and lots of shopping.
The homeless people that were living across the street from our room were very disruptive several times in the middle of the night. I was a little shocked how bad the homeless issue has gotten since we moved away. People seem to be in many locations 24 hours a day (including the location at the corner of Park and Morrison). This location had as many as 10 people living on this street corner.

Wonderful food abounds within easy walking distance. Perhaps provide restaurant reommendations for guests. There are no ice cube trays in the refrigerator. The TV was very difficult to figure out and we only got it working once - accidently. The provided instructions did not work. All else was wonderful! A map of possible parking would have been helpful - we were delighted that one of your recmmendations was in the building which made us very happy but we had been worried about how long a walk we might have with all our belongings. No problem.

I lived in Portland for 20 years and it was so fun to be home again. If someone is from out of town, I believe the area could be a little disappointing, since it is up and coming. Luckily, I know that area and all its gems well and it was perfect and fun!!!

For some reason, every native has the opinion that the building is an absolute eye soar. If only they experienced the view!
