Where is Big Sky, MT?

In Southwest Montana, nestled in the Rocky Mountains, the community of Big Sky is composed of two resort areas sharing one mountain. But room to roam is the least of guests’ concerns. These two resorts come together to create “the Biggest Skiing in America,” totaling over 5,800 acres—or two acres of terrain per rider. The college city of Bozeman is an hour away with a plethora of shops and restaurants, as is Yellowstone’s westmost access point. In fact, Big Sky has earned the nickname “Basecamp to Yellowstone” for its convenience and proximity.
