Recent Sonoita-Elgin Wine Region guest reviews

This was our third stay at the Guard House. We so enjoy the comfort and amenities of the house and property, both inside and outside. Close proximity to a large park to enjoy daily walks with our dog, meeting other people in the park, and watching the wildlife. This location is ideal for easy access to the Tucson foothills, east side, and a short trip to the downtown area. Our hosts are very friendly and attentive to make our stays fun and memorable. We look forward to our next stay at the Guard House!

Really quiet neighborhood, lovely yard and outdoor seating.

The home was perfect for our extended family (two grandparents), adult kids and their two children. The layout of the bedrooms provided separation and some independence for the grandparents away from the rest of the troop. The house is the perfect size for our group and age ranges, ensuring that we were not constantly on top of one another. And this goes for both the indoor and outdoor space. The home is nicely and comfortably furnished, though two addition chairs in the sitting area off the kitchen would be a welcomed addition. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped allowing us to comfortably cook many of our dinners. We particularly loved the gas range. The home is in the east part of Tucson, which I enjoy for it access to key cycling spots and sone of the top trust attractions. And though it is a bit of a drive (20-40 min depending on traffic) to downtown, getting downtown is easy and hassle free. The home well located to several grocery and drugs stores, and stores like Target/Walmart. The home is on a very quiet circle in an equally quiet neighborhood. So if one is looking for a quite stay that affords you proximity to your basic and entertainment needs, then seriously consider this home.
