I absolutely loved everything about this house. It has a beautiful spacious kitchen. Beds are very comfortable and it was spotless clean. My family really enjoyed this big gorgeous house! We will rent it again!

Oceanfront at Sunrise is an absolutely *perfect* property for an escape to Port A! The Gulf views are stunning, and it is located directly across (walking distance) from the main pool, splash pad, restaurant and bar. The house is filled with amenities for kids (cups/plates, games, high chair, pack and play) and adults (shuffleboard, abundance of beach towels, anything you could need in the kitchen). The elevator was a game changer for unloading and accommodating a pregnant person + older family member in the house. Beds were SO comfortable - I brought my own pillow and didn't even use it! I am frankly very perplexed by the review of the person who stayed in the house before us as we had a 5 star experience (and it seems everyone else has as well!). To address those specific items - the house was SPOTLESS upon arrival. One of the cleanest rentals I have been to - it felt like arriving at a hotel! - the elevator was not broken and worked perfectly. There are very explicit instructions posted on the elevator to ensure you are using it correctly; my guess is the former reviewer didn't read those thoroughly - A/C was amazing. We like to keep it very low, and the A/C was so effective we got cold (I say that in a positive way!) - Freezer opens all the way...we used it for frozen food and bags of ice - Used the washer and dryer multiple times. Just like most dryers, you need to be sure not to overload it with towels! The home was stunning, service impeccable, location perfection, and Palmilla was the ultimate escape for our family ranging from a toddler - 75. We will be back!

This property was fantastic, plenty of parking for vehicles to come and go for supplies, could fit trailer and truck on side of house when not needed and still get by. This house was meant for large groups, and each bedroom having its own bathroom put it at a HUGE advantage over many other locations we looked at. The long dining table was perfect for large group meals and there was no lack of countertop space for the food! The only downside was the TV’s were a little outdated, it would’ve been nice to have a newer smart TV to put on streaming if preferred, but we were in the house for such small amounts of time that it didn’t really matter much. We would definitely recommend this property to others, and might even consider rebooking it in the future! Additionally, having a fenced off section of the backyard made it perfect for if you want to bring pets along. Being 5 minutes away from the local HEB and other restaurants makes it convenient for those wanting to explore the area, and its location on the lake means it’s not going to be too busy (unless there’s some sort of event happening in the cove down the way, which we got to see a helicopter show and tons of people show up for)!
