Cabin gave us what we came for . . a few days of rest in the trees and mountains! Very quaint cabin with an unobstructed view of mountain across the street. The deer did not disappoint as a three point buck and three young deer spent the afternoon laying in the sun for the afternoon in the side yard just outside the kitchen windows! This was a hi-lite for my dad who came with me. We put together puzzles and played chess at the dining room table; enjoyed a glass of wine on the front deck (2 wine glasses available) with patio table and 4 chairs. The downstairs bed was comfy, did not try beds upstairs as the stairs were a little steep for me and my dog (going downstairs was concerning) there are anti slip strips on most of the stairs but are missing at the top and bottom of the stairs. There is adequate seating, but furniture has lost it's support over time and could use updating. Sitting on sofa and side chair for any length of time can make your back feel uncomfortable/painful.
Amenities like soap, shampoo, towels, dish soap, hair dryer, coffee pot with filters, were a plus. Pantry is basic with salt and pepper. Bring what you need to cook your recipes.
The area is beautiful, with many nearby hiking trails to fill your days in the off season. Bring some hiking boots as the ground freezes, any rain or snow melt will create standing water, slush and mud on the hiking paths.
I would stay at this location again.
Make sure you get their Roku password so you can add the Youtubetv app if that is your streaming provider.
