We booked this property via VRBO. All communication via this platform was non existent after booking. After discovering Vacassa has an app, I was able to access booking details required for check in. Bummer, they didn't provide this or respond to VRBO communication. Property itself was great. We appreciated the quiet nature of the northern Caye Caulker site.

What might be helpful to others is that this is NOT a 2BR, 2 bathroom unit. It is actually 2 separate units each with their own private entrances, kitchens, living areas and porches. Basically a duplex (one up and one down), which was great for us - 2 female friends traveling together. Properties were really clean and both beds were comfortable. For people planning on vacationing here, I would suggest bringing some spices from home and coffee filters if you like a morning cup of jo. There are no provisions other than filtered water. There are pots, pans, knives, plates, bowls, and silverware but nothing else. If you are planning on cooking, you will need to bring all provisions. Groceries are cheaper and more abundant on the south side of Caye Caulker. We would definitely stay here again and preferred the north side of Caye Caulker which is a little quieter and more relaxing. Restaurants on the north side were all wonderful! Bliss Beach and the new Bounty Bay Beach club are both fun. Make sure to try the Shrimp Ceviche at Bliss Beach...the best I have ever had!! I highly recommend renting a golf cart and buying a 5 time pass from the Split-to-Split ferry guys for $50 USD which will allow you to cross the split 5 times (back and forth) with your golf cart. Otherwise it is $25 USD per round trip. We will be back!! Thank you for the great stay.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything is as stated in the description. It's beautiful, quiet and well taken care of. Communication was great and any questions we had were answered in a timely fashion. As far as location, we thought that was great as well. Easy to get to the Ferry and anywhere on the island, especially with the availability of bikes at the property (but plan ahead as you have to get in touch with someone to sign a waiver before you get the lock code). Highly recommend Happy Lobster near by! Great service, great food. We also enjoyed the food and drink at the little road side cafe down the road (I forget the name). We would definitely stay here again- highly recommend if you are looking for quiet and beautiful views.

They what us to tell you what we loved. We did indeed loved our stay. The place was exactly as described. It's a great escape from the craziness of the south island but easy and fun to go there when you want to shop, eat and drink. Someone said the dock is worn and rickety, not so. It is naturally weathered wood (perhaps teak) but well constructed and study. We used it extensively for travel. We had a boat pick us and our luggage up at the Caribbean sprinter ferry and take us back when we left: $10USD PP each way! Had a boat take us to and from Bliss beach. We had fishing/dive charters pick us up there. I recommend North side ferry service when traveling to island destinations. The dock is great for sunning and watching the sun rise. The shaded pool area and nice shady landscaping is rare on the Caye and greatly appreciated. Other than doors sticking and every window in the place not opening everything was great. They were even replacing all the bikes with new ones! Would definitely stay here again and again!
