My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick, creative getaway from the city. The house is in a very cute and quiet neighborhood. we never saw another person in the houses near ours. The creek is just steps through the backyard, where you can sit on a bench in the trees and watch the water with some coffee. The village area is within walking distance, yet not at all in the hustle of it. I also brought my dog here who loved running around the huge plot of land, and keeping warm in front of the fireplace. great spot!

Nicely appointed kitchen. Comfortable furnishings except the back room has a "futon" that is child sized and hard as the floor. I slept on the couch. Not really a fireplace but stove with small glass 'window' on the front of it. We were never able to get it to work but management comped for the trouble. Woke up with no heat the last night (63) and down to 60 but the time we left--chilly.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay! We are sorry about your difficulties with the fireplace. We are happy that our local staff was able to resolve that for you. We hope you will come back again soon!

So clean, comfortable and cozy. Great location and great cabin. Beds are very comfortable, as well as the couches. Nice little kitchen, and 2nd room was perfect for out teenager. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

We loved this little house. Everything was perfect. Also loved the games available. The lot is fantastic with access to Strawberry Creek. Note, that there is a claw-footed large bathtub in the bathroom.

Loved the surroundings on Strawberry Creek. Big beautiful pines and cedars in the yard. Birds of every kind everywhere. Squirrels, rabbits and a coyote howling at night. If you are a nature lover you will be in heaven.

cute little place, you can hear the creek running and just enough space.

We loved this place but I have to be honest and tell of a few problems. At the top of the driveway the address for this house is at 2 different driveways and of course we only saw the incorrect one. Could not get the key from the lockbox and called VACASA and was on hold for 40 minutes. A friend also emailed them hoping for a faster response. This was on a Tuesday at 2:30 PM. Finally we walked up the road and saw the same address on the second driveway. We drove over there and this was the correct house. Got right in and loved the house. There is a queen bed and a fouton and I slept on the fouton and have to say it wasn't too comfortable. I spent the next couple of nights sleeping on the couch. We had a problem with ants and I even found them in my handbag. We were very careful to have everything clean and put away.
It also would have been nice to have some kind of floor fan to move the air. It was in the high 80's and no air conditioning in the house and no breeze.
It is a very nice cottage and we really enjoyed our stay there.

The privacy. Comfort. Well stocked kitchen. The outside patio.

This was our second time in this perfect cabin. We spent a full week with our dog and walked to town daily. The location is perfect, the home is clean and has everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We'll be back!

This cabin was the best decision I made this year. From anywhere you sit, you feel at peace and stress less. Definitely coming back.

I stayed in this cabin For three nights with my two little dogs.
The place was very well maintained and furnished beautifully. There's a lovely deck and the location is beautiful.
If I had to make a criticism it would be that the kitchen utensils were minimal. I don't mind because I'm not interested in anything but basic food prep when I travel. If you think you need a sharp knife, bring it or bring a sharpener. Also there was no frying pan.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

I loved the location. I didn’t love the shower. Very difficult to use.

The accommodations are superb. We were extremely comfortable and the host is generous. It is a lovely cabin next to the creek. (Although don't expect to hear water running by) but a nice walk along the creek was nice and you can hear a babbling creek. At 2 am I finished reading a book and saw 2 gray mice run past my feet. I saw where they exited the house. I contacted the Vacasa at 2 am (after awakening my Husband). I am from the City; I guess Mountain folks are use to this. Vacasa moved us to another cabin, so the Owner could work with the Pest Co. to figure out where they were getting in from. The stars are beautiful and I slept better than ever. Very peaceful and relaxing; nice comfy furniture. Very nice home. I would go back.

Mostly it’s cleanliness, lack of clutter, charm and perfect size for two. Quiet but super close to town. Many towering cedars.

We really enjoyed our stay!. This delightful log cabin was just what we were looking for. It was very clean with just the right amount of decor to make you feel at home with out being overdone. The fireplace added the perfect warmth to this cozy cabin. Bummer there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal and the microwave did not work... BUT this did not deviate from our lovely get-a-way.
We will definitely be back!

This was such a pleasant experience. From the minute we parked the car we could tell the place was clean and it was in a perfect location. We walked everywhere. It was just perfect. Very clean, quite, warm, and well equipped. We had a wonderful time and are already looking at our calendar to plan our next visit! Highly recommend!

We were in Idyllwild to take care of some personal business. It was so nice to come home to this very warm environment at night. It is a very convenient location, super quiet at night, has a great heating system for cold nights, the bed is good, the house is well supplied. We loved this little cabin - it was just right for us!

Nice quiet cabin in the woods in Idyllwild . Really enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the fireplace.

This cute little cabin is nestled in a picturesque setting of redwood, pine, and other evergreens. A stones throw from small creek, there are plenty of birds for even the most reticent ornithologist. Most pictures embellish the reality but not here. In fact the pictures don’t do it justice. Fireplace is small but does the trick and the property had been stocked with plenty of firewood outside. There is FA heating with an updated thermostat to keep you toasty. Kitchen is spacious with plenty of utensils. Great outdoor deck that wraps around the back of the cabin and a BBQ in the back yard. The only downside for some may be the shower situation. There isn’t one, at least not a traditional one. A great tub which has a hand held wand is as close as you get. Unless you want to take a leisurely bath be prepared to get in and get out. Honestly my wife and I didn’t mind but some may. We loved it and will be back!
