My husband and I recently retired and we stayed a Alamanda by the Gulf for 3 weeks. We enjoyed the home very much. The home is very comfortable and the location is fantastic. We brought our dog with us and she had a wonderful time. There are many dogs and very friendly people in the neighborhood. You can walk to shops, restaurants, and the Rod & Reel Pier. It was extremely pleasant taking the dog for walks because the neighborhood is lovely. There is a small back patio; we ate most meals out on the patio. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. There is internet and cable TV. I would highly recommend this house.

Although nothing to look at from the outside, the house is nicely appointed and up-to-date. It is in a fairly quiet residential neighborhood but close to the beach and restaurants.

The home is exactly as pictured. Wonderfully redone. Very clean and has everything you need to enjoy some time on Anna Maria. 1 block from the Bay and a couple more over to the Gulf. The only thing missing was maybe a few beach cruisers to use. The furniture is exactly what you would want to see in a beach bungalow and the beds and pillow are all comfy. We had some unfortunate road work going on the entire time we were there. Loud noise and flashing lights were bothersome but not the fault of the location. Just timing. This was my first booking through Vacasa and my only recommendation for those doing the same is to contact the local office where you will be picking up your keys before arrival! We had a large group on the island for a family reunion and we all booked homes in close proximity to one another. The morning of our arrival we got an email stating the place would be ready by 11am. When we showed up at 2:30pm the house hadn’t been cleaned. That left several of us with food that needed a fridge and not much to do for hours while the house keepers turned over the home. The local Vacasa branch was nice enough to buy us a late lunch while we waited. Again, I highly suggest getting with the local office as the emails come from corporate located in a different state. Overall the house was great. Don’t let the outside fool you! You will not be disappointed by the interior!
