Peaceful wooded cabin w/ sleepy location & modern comforts near hiking & golf!
This Idaho cabin is perfect for restful getaways no matter what the time of year. A wooded location with all the comforts of home provides the ideal setting for a relaxing vacation with your family and friends!
Eleven miles southeast of McCall, this home offers the best of both worlds. You can drive into town to pick up groceries and admire Payette Lake, then return to your isolated home for some peace and quiet. A trail out back lets you stretch your legs and admire the woods up close. In the winter, follow the Nordic trail to Jug Mountain Ranch, which transforms from a summertime golf course into a snow-covered property you can explore with skis and snowshoes!
No matter what time of year you visit, this cabin will have you feeling warm and cozy at the end of the day. You'll have both an outdoor firepit and a propane stove, which certainly helps! Bundle up in your favorite blanket and stay entertained with the free WiFi or a DVD on the flatscreen cable TV. We loved that you couldn't see any other houses (even though there are several around. Space was great. Well stocked kitchen. A few maintenance issues through out the home but it was clean and we enjoyed every minute.

Very comfortable and pleasant. Great views all around as there are lots of windows. Hilly area great for hiking and bicycling. Very clean and presented very nicely. We stayed for ten days and did not want to leave!

Loved the stay! Great place to bring the family and enjoy the amazing view. The only thing I would suggest is to leave a note saying where the floor heater was for the kitchen. Saw notes that it had one but took us a day to find it. Kitchen floor was cold but better once we found the heater.

Downside- neighbors are not very nice.

The privacy. We are usually pleasantly surprised by the quality of offerings we book through Vacasa..

Pros: Amazing serene and private property, wonderfully stocked kitchen, with very comfortable beds. Overall a nice, clean house with spotless bathrooms and kitchen.
Cons: No screen doors. It would have been nice to open the doors and not have bugs come in.
We have suggested screen doors to the owners. We are glad to see the stay was otherwise enjoyable.

Nice place. The perfect blend of western, mountain, and chic. Real wood heat would have been nice, but campfires made up the difference. Would do it again.

We love this place so much we came back again! :-) The location is private with beautiful scenery. It's close enough to town to grab a bite to eat but secluded enough to feel like you're in the wilderness. The cabin is well-equipped with everything you need to have a great time!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is perfect for the family who has children (everyone gets their own bed!)- there is abundant space on the inside with beautiful views out all the wonderful windows, and there is plenty of private space outdoors for the kids to play while you enjoy a glass of wine on the expansive deck. The tubing hill is nearby, and it's super-close to McCall so you can easily enjoy the restaurants (Bistro 45 has amazing sandwiches and affordable wine and Growler's Pizza has take and bake pizzas) and to pick up groceries, but it's far enough to feel like you're at your own private cabin in the woods. We hope the owners will allow us to stay again sometime soon. :-)
