Lovley cabin with a beautiful view.

This cabin had everything needed. The kitchen was fully furnished. It was very clean. Loved the location tucked back in, nice and cozy. The only thing I would recommend is better indoor furniture. The upstairs loveseat was nice but everything else was broken down and uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise it was perfect and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Nice quiet location with comfortable and charming furnishings. Beds made for a good sleep and plenty of kitchen supplies for meals and cleaning up. Gave a 4 star rather than a 5 only because we would had liked to enjoy the upstairs seating area, but the windows had not been cleaned for a clear view. The shower stall door was a bit tight for a fluffy build person and the shower head a bit short, but glad to have access to a shower onsight. The deck was a bit messy, but it was October so we weren't using it much anyway. All in all, I would stay again. Thank you for having us!

Depending on the time of year, you'll see locals' vehicles hauling mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, snowboards, and snowmobiles - this area is a playground for outdoorsy types. The Payette River flows through the area for whitewater rafting, and Lake Cascade itself stretches for 20 miles, drawing boating enthusiasts in the summer and ice fishermen in the winter. When the snow falls, miles of hiking trails turn to cross-country routes, and the wide open fields are criss-crossed with snowmobile tracks.

And if a few of the family members prefer their vacations to be more relaxing than heart-pounding, don't worry. If a break is needed from lounging on your lakefront cabin deck, Cascade is a charming town, with a handful of shops and cafes to explore during your stay. There are amazing scenic drives in the area, and easy day trips available - perhaps head to the beautiful resort at Tamarack for a round of golf or massage at the spa, or drive up to lively McCall for a day of window shopping, followed by a fresh IPA and elk burgers at Salmon River Brewing. At any time of year, a weekend spent in a cozy Cascade cabin rental will leave you rejuvenated, relaxed—and planning your next getaway.
