The home was beautiful. Loved cooking in the kitchen and the house has so much charm and character. CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. GREAT NEIGHBORS

Everything was great!!

Great home within easy walking distance to downtown.

We had 3 teen girls, an 8 y/o boy, my daughter and me, grandma. The house is fabulous. Because of covid 19, we had all the groceries delivered and I cooked everything. The kitchen was well equipped with nice pots and pans, baking dishes, cookie sheets, etc. The place is huge and the furniture is all comfortable, clean and nice. Everything was spotless. The kids loved it. The upstairs is really "funky" with a big round tub. There are 2 TV's. The towels were all white and fluffy. This property is well kept up. Everything works well and nothing is tacky. We all loved it.

The house was nice and clean. Very spacious. The property manager Seth was very friendly
Leslee G. Mar 2020
Great location however, property is suffering from basic upkeep. House smells like heavy mildew (buckets of Damp Rid in every room) curtains are ripped, bedspreads have stains, patio furniture cushions have mold, stains on carpeting in living room.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the location, walking distance to historic downtown St. Augustine.
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, Leslee. This insight greatly assists us in addressing outlying areas of concern throughout the home in order to ensure we are providing the best vacation experiences possible for our guests. We hope to host you for an exceptional stay in the future!

Great location and just a wonderful place to stay.

Great house and locatiion. Everything you could possibly need was available for you. We were able to walk to the town and visit some historical sites. It was also very clean which is important to me. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars because there was a musty smell in the house. They had a dehumidifier but it was already full when we arrived

This lovely home is "as advertised" and oh-so-comfortable and well appointed. The furnishing are all quite lovely, and the owners took great care with remodeling to include some interesting features and yet retain much of the original charm of the home. I was pleased to see they kept the original kitchen cabinetry and metal latches! Comfortable beds and bedding, and nice toweling, too. The location was terrific for exploring historic St. Augustine. I highly recommend this Vacasa property!

So many rooms and private areas. Plenty of space to spread out.

I came for the weekend from Jacksonville with a group of friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. The house is in a very central location which made it easy to walk or Uber to all the good spots very easily. We loved the big dining room table and the private back patio area. Two simple additions would have been amazing: A full length mirror and a small spice rack. The kitchen is wonderful but the only spice is salt, so cooking was boring! And to have a home that large without one single full length mirror is wild. We did genuinely enjoy our stay and would recommend it.
Manager response:
We are so glad that you enjoyed the home! We appreciate your suggestion of a full-length mirror and we are passing this along to our local staff! We do not provide any spices in our homes. There may be leftover from previous guests, but we ask that our guests bring whatever food items or spices they may need to prepare their meals. Thank you for your review and we hope to host you again soon!

We liked that the home is very nicely updated, but, still has an old world charm. It was very clean and plenty of space for all. The beds were very firm. We loveded being close to town. St Augustine is amazing. I would recommend putting some kind of marker on the inside stairs. Hard to see the next step. And also mark the step coming out the front door. Also, hard to differentiate that it is a step. Had two people miss the step and almost fall. All said, we enjoyed the home
Manager response:
Hello Jeffrey, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have forwarded this information to the local management staff to address it with the owner. We do hope you will allow us to host you again in the future.

The property fit perfectly with the history of Saint Augustine. Made the history of the town continue for 24 hours each day. Very clean and cozy. Highly recomend for a peaceful relaxing stay.

Great location, walking distance to downtown!

It was a very lovely home. I think the upstairs was gorgeous but I do think it needs something like a door in front of the bathtub. Other wise nothing was wrong with it. Very spacious. It looks bigger on the inside than it does on the outside. When you pull up it looks little but it's not. I loved it!! Would stay again if it is available.

Amazing stay, gorgeous home and very tidy and clean. Almost didn’t want to leave to be honest. Definitely would suggest this home for a family if you are in the area.

Neat, safe neighborhood, lots of students walking back and forth to Flagler. Beautiful, clean home, just like the pictures. Lots of thick, nice towels, well equipped kitchen. Upstairs area really well done with lots of character. Perfect size home for family of 5 plus in-laws. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Loved the cleanliness. Close to everything we needed. Great location for wedding. Quality towels. Can close off upstairs easily if have small children.
Lawrence W. Apr 2019
This home is incredibly located in St. Augustine. Once we parked our car, everything was within walking distance. We did not use our car once during the weekend. As parking is at a minimum, this was a huge benefit.
The home itself was clean and offered all the amenities you could need for a weekend getaway. My only 2 gripes would be the poor lighting in the bathrooms, and the excessive firmness of the mattresses.
Despite these issues, I would recommend the home for a weekend getaway

This comfy house is within walking distance of everything we did in St. Augustine. It's on a pleasant residential street that was quiet and safe. The layout is a bit funky, but it has lots of room.
Eileen P. Jan 2019
Lots of room, plenty of privacy when needed. We played cards all week end! Loved the big dining room table. We could literally walk everywhere!
Lisa B. Jan 2019
The house was walking distance to downtown and just about any where else we wanted to be. Everything was neat and clean, management company was prompt and professional when dealing with a clogged bathroom sink. Highly recommend
Colby M. Jan 2019
Location perfect for walking and sightseeing through old town and surrounding areas. Only complaint is twin bed listed is actually a futon and no linens or pillow provided for it.
Erin M. Dec 2018
The Florida Charm was a really cool house with a ton of character. It was clean, well decorated and had that old St Augustine charm. You can tell the house was built over a 100 years ago with its unique layout and solid brick structure. We enjoyed every minute of our stay as we were able to walk to everything. Trolley also has 3 stops with 1-2 blocks so bought a multiple day pass and continued to hop on and off. Only negative to this property is that you can hear the car traffic in the middle of the night due to the brick streets; however wasn’t that big of a deal. Would definitely love to visit again!

Beautiful, spacious house walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend for a big group of family.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Walking distance to the winery and downtown. The house was spacious, clean and well decorated. We enjoyed every minute of it!
