Ideal for a romantic getaway for two or a fun-filled vacation, this secluded Scandinavian gem sits in a verdant valley just a few miles from Rhododendron and features a full kitchen equipped with a Viking professional gas range, a wood-burning fireplace, a furnished stone patio with a gas grill, and easy access to a babbling brook. There is also an outdoor firepit and a sound dock for music.

What's nearby:
This custom-built home sits on 24 acres of protected wilderness in the Bull Run reserve offering its own trails for hiking, berry picking, and mushroom hunting. When the snow is falling, step outside and head out on those same trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. If you want to hit the slopes for some downhill action, the Timberline Ski Area is just 22 miles away. For even more excitement, the Sandy River is only a couple of miles away, while there are numerous trailheads, parks, and refreshing waterfalls located just minutes from this rental. Or take a short, five-mile drive into Mt. Hood Village for shops, restaurants, and friendly local bars.

*Those with limited mobility, please take note. The trail from the parking area to the home is roughly 150 feet in length and crosses a grated steel pedestrian bridge. The driveway is plowed only when the snow depth exceeds eight inches, and a vehicle with AWD, chains, and appropriate ground clearance may be required
A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Parking Notes: Single file parking only. Please be advised that you'll need to walk over a bridge and either up a rock staircase or a steep hill to get to the house. Flat, comfortable shoes are required - no high heels
