I have stayed at Anchor Resorts many times over the years but, it was my first time staying in this condo. The location of the condo on the property couldn't be more perfect. It is sandwiched in the middle of the outdoor pool and the canal. The condo actually has it's very own private path from the condo balcony door to the pool. But, you don't have to walk far because it is literally right outside the room. This is an awesome perk but, it can also be a little bit of a negative when people are playing music and kids are screaming and splashing with high pitched excitement. It didn't bother us though, as we have young kids. I felt like most of the noise was muffled out enough. There is also an indoor pool located in the check in office building but, we didn't swim in it this time.

We woke up early before what seemed like everyone else in the channel and drank our coffee on the spacious outdoor patio. It had rained the night before, so it was nice and fresh in the morning. All of the condos are nice and have a relaxing island vibe.

The views from this particular condo are perfect ( I would venture to say in the entire canal). The condo is situated in a way that gives you a view all the way down the canal and we loved watching all the boats and activity pass by us. The sunsets. It was lovely.

We fished off the docks, that are just outside the condo. We watched tv too, which this property happens to have 2 of. I like getting away from the technology but, it is also nice to have it when you want it. So that was also a nice bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cups, plates, utensils, pot and pans you could need to cook. I cooked several times while we were there and it was nice to stay somewhere with a full kitchen (as opposed to a hotel). The condo has an on suite washer and dryer (another perk). Just being able to throw your wet towels in the dryer is a bonus. The bathrooms are small and simple but, they serve their purpose. Plus, we weren't there for big bathrooms. The king size bed was comfortable. The linens were clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the creature comforts that we are used to at home. A big plus about staying here is that even though it is a community of condos, it still feel cozy and private. I like that.

The condo is older but, having stayed at the resort before, I knew what to expect. For being and older condo, they have kept it up nicely. The decor was a cute beachy theme. The condo is non smoking however, it did smell like someone had smoked in it before. That smell quickly subsided after being in the condo for a few hours. It didn't really bother us. We stayed 2 nights. We went fishing, swimming in the pool, and also the beach. We walked to Sonic (practically located on the property as well as a Whataburger). After we ate, we walked down the street to some souvenir shops.

We really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this condo and we would stay here again.

Our family had a great stay here! The parking was close to the room & the room was close to the pool with an amazing outlooking patio on the canal. Clean, cozy and I'd stay here again! There was also an elevator that my mom had to use only a short walk on the other side of the parking garage. It was quiet & peaceful as well. Thanks for a great stay!
