Lots of space and great location.....

This was an overall great experience. The house was big enough for my family to have a time together and time alone. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. Minor things that could use some repairs but nothing major.

Amount of public space -- table accommodates 10 comfortably
Amount of bathrooms, bedrooms and beds
Pool table and downstairs "kid" area
Proximity to food shopping and town (town is not walkable)
Presentation and look of home
Washer/dryer, which is really a must for us, but the home had a nice set

Lighting in bedrooms and public spaces -- need more
Quality of outdoor space -- putting green is not useable as a putting green
Kitchen is missing some key needs like sharp knives, a functioning ice maker, hand towels
Kitchen needs more glasses
Trash was left in home by last renters or cleaning staff
Dirty towels were left in home by last renters or cleaning staff
Towel bar was off of wall and left on bathroom sink for our arrival
Half bath could use a toilet paper holder
Poor communication between the operator you speak with for help and the actual person who comes, or doesn't come, to help

We are giving the home a three out of five star review because we were without heat in 30 degree weather and had a non working fireplace. Needless to say, we were cold. They called a service person who came and was like a user-error-tester. He was nice, but could not fix either issue. They took the heat pretty seriously and sent a repair person out the next night who did repair the heat right before bed time. Despite the assurances about the fireplace, it was never fixed and we were called by a repair person telling us they would come at a date and time that extended beyond our four day rental.

When we were booking there were so many choices. Our stay, after taxes and fees worked out to about $600 a night and I think we could have found a better rental or a residential hotel in the area for this rate. We would have compromised on space for a better experience.

Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall, and apologize that you encountered some issues. Please know that this is not commonplace, and we thank you for calling in order for local staff to promptly resolve these issues. Thank you.

This home was perfect for my 60th Birthday Party. The kitchen was large enough for many to join in cooking, but there were not enough dishes for the number of people that can stay there, so don't forget paper plates. The back yard was so much fun with lots of games to play (watch out for the collapsing fence) and plenty of room to gather. Lots of space for a crowd in the living and dining room and the bedrooms were cozy.
Manager response:
We are happy to hear this guest enjoyed their stay. More dishware has been purchased for this home. Thanks!
