Home was very clean and comfortable. It had a lovely view of the water through the trees and was a short walk to a very nice community beach.

It is a comfortable house in general. It has a very nice and relaxing view of the beach. However, there is no direct access to the beach. We had to drive 5 miles To go to the beach! They listed fishing under things that u you can do over there. That is not true! You have to drive for few miles to go to the fishing area! They have 2 queen beds and a sofa. No extra beds. We went there with our 2yr old, they do not have crips. The Stairs inside the house can be very dangerous when you have little ones!!they need to put stair gates as an option for families who are going their with little ones. In general, the house is clean, But we found hair in the beds!!!! The sheets were not clean. I am glad that they put extra bed sheets. The Balcony was very dirty as if nobody cleaned it all!! The paper towels & the toilet paper are very cheap quality, You would run out of them so quickly, You need to bring your own. We liked the Jacuzzi very much. We enjoyed the view of the sunset and the Sunrise.
Manager response:
We apologize if housekeeping missed any items for your stay and wish you had called. The sheets are always washed and changed between guests, but sometimes hairs don't get filtered out in the dryer. We will remind housekeeping to check for this. Thank you!

Lovely, clean home! Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed in over the years. The beach was one street over and had parking for guests and owners. You couldn’t beat the view from the balcony. The only thing I didn’t like were the showers— they were pretty small. But it was a minor thing that didn’t take away from the overall experience. The area was very quiet, relaxing, and we’d love to go back.

What’s not to love. Island home in pristine condition, comfy beds, a view through the trees, walking distance to the beach, and a short drive to downtown Coupeville. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

It was very comfortable for our family.

We enjoyed cooking, hiking, kayaking, and visiting various locations around Whidbey Island. The cottage had a fabulous view, it was clean, the jacuzzi bathtub was fabulous and the beds were very comfortable. Toilet paper was very poor quality.
We stayed 6 nights and would have liked to know where to put our filled trash bags, and directions for using the TV-as it was World Series time of the year. There were no measuring spoons either.
The people staying below had children who were noisy in the mornings, and the jets flew over 2 consecutive afternoons, eliminating our ability to talk during their flights. There should be a disclosure for this small inconvenience.
OVerall our visit was very good.

We loved the bird sounds which surrounded us every morning. The neighborhood was quiet, and unassuming.

Very sweet 2BR retreat. The access to the beautiful river in back was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay again if/when we are back in the mountains. Thank you.

It's a beautiful home with very comfortable beds. There were plenty of extra blankets and linens. I loved getting up early and watching the sun rise from the deck. The grill works great and the kitchen is well stocked. The kitchen has nice new appliances and everything worked well. There is plenty of parking (though it may be a bit tight if you have a larger vehicle. The town of Coupeville is small and charming. There are beautiful hikes and it was a very relaxing stay.

Love the view, the high ceilings, the wood firelplace, the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, so much......but it is a house with 2 beds not 3! It’s advertised with a futon and it is not a futon but a bench. Come with the idea of a queen and a double and it’ll be great. Don’t believe that there’s another bed in the Oyster House.
