The area of pine mountain lake was wonderful and this cabin is lovely. My family (children ages 4, 1) had a great time exploring, star gazing and bbqing on the deck. Or just relaxing sipping wine. The reason it's not 5 stars is because of a wasp nest by the front door that meant we couldn't eat outside without getting swarmed and the upstairs shower leaked through the floor. Easily fixable problems for the future, but problems for us.
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review for us. The wasp nest has been removed. We hope to see you again, Hugo!

This is the quintessential lake house. It was very clean which is what matters most to me, but the decor and architecture are great! There was just 4 of us staying so we had plenty of room. Could have easily fit at least 2-4 more people comfortably. It was our perfect home base for our day trips into Yosemite (about 90 mins from the house to the Valley) we did not spend any time in the PML neighborhood. With all the area has to offer, the neighborhood lake wasn’t a draw for us.

The kitchen is very nice and we cooked every night. Definitely lacking in amenities- no can opener, limited seasonings, ice machine wasn’t working, no soap, sponge, paper towels or garbage bags that we could find. Our vacasa rep Patrick was awesome and delivered what we needed, but in general nothing was labeled so everything became a hunt.

My husband and I slept in the bedroom downstairs and let the kids have the loft upstairs. Our bed was very firm but fine.

We all opted for the crazy shower upstairs - more a novelty than practical but fun for a vacation. Wish it had directions.

Unlike my experience with Airbnb - vacasa leaves no binder with all the info on the house. Between that and nothing labeled it was just a lot of trial and error.

Confirming this place has NO WIFI, only one bar max for cell service (speaking for sprint - I hear Verizon works) so having no WiFi was tough. Especially wanting to plan our next day of activities. If this place had WiFi it would have been perfect.

Manager response:
Hi, Briana! Your feedback is so appreciated. We working on providing more information to our guests via the digital binder provided, and maintenance is looking at the maker. Thank you!

It was a very nice cabin, easy to find with plenty of space inside and out. The fancy shower upstairs had a broken shower head, so we were resigned to use the shower in the lowest level (7/10 on appliance/function - kitchen was great, offset broken bathroom). The house was well appointed, with clean linens and clean floors, which was a real plus (8/10 on cleanliness). Bring your own spices, as the ones there are dated 2011. We could've brought another 3-5 people and we still would've had space (except at the dinner table).
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, D! We have followed-up with housekeeping on removing the spices from the home. Maintenance has taken care of the shower head. We hope to see you again!
