The Point Cabin is on a point in a small lake. Although there are other cabins nearby, you can't see them. There is a view in three directions (west north and east). The opens onto the deck which is the view in the photo. The cabin is old-school, no TV or internet and we only got 1 bar on our mobile phones. Someone told us it was the original cabin in the resort. It's small and not fancy but everything you need is there. It has a great feeling, we loved it.

Stunning views, quiet, relaxing and homey cabin. We would love to live here! A great escape from the business of everyday life.

We loved this cozy cabin for its privacy and the quiet Kitten Lake it abuts. We read a lot, went out on our inflatable raft, saw a family of loons, an eagle, an osprey, a kingfisher, and a mink. It was a perfect, off-the-grid getaway, and we did not want to leave. Peaceful best describes it. We'd go back.

Had a great stay at this classic north-woods cabin. Was a nice private setting on a quiet lake. The space was small, but suited our family of 4 perfectly. Connects to the larger Wildcat lake. Good fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Dock accommodated our pontoon without issue. We would visit again!

We don’t know how many times we have stayed at this cabin, but we do know that every time we arrive it feels like we are coming home.

6 days of great muskie fishing - 17 in the boat with a thick 43". Turtles nesting in the yard, a loon nesting within site of the dock, eagles feeding on the lake, a visit from a swan. Cabin has a very private feeling being on the point. Stunning views. Definitely will be back!

The location is perfect if you want to listen to loons, owls, wolves, and coyotes! There is a resident eagle who fishes from the lake and otters with a slide right near the property. The fishing is fun, the trees are beautiful and the cabin is charming. This is our 5th visit and won't be our last.

We loved the deck and canoes and kayaks. The bedrooms are small but each has lake views. The cozy kitchen is easy to cook in and keep clean. Comfortable even on rainy afternoons.

Would like to book again for next year and possible add another cabin for other family.... Tell us about your favorite feature of the property. Love how it overlooks the lake and is private, even though part of a resort setting. cute cabin--great games for the kids to play. We personally enjoyed not having a TV--really was able to disconnect and focus on family.

We had a serious family emergency that required us to abruptly end our trip 5 days/4 nights early. Our hosts graciously gave us a credit for our unused time. We will long remember their kindness. We can't wait to get back up there to use our credit. We plan on visiting this property every year or every other year into the foreseeable future.....

Loved it: perfect in every way. Highlight was listening to the peeper frogs at night and the loon yodeling on the lake to mark his territory. And watching the crescent moon sink behind the pines after watching the most gorgeous multi-colored sunset. Thanks for all! Tell us about your favorite feature of the property. Location and how equipped the cabin was. Being on the point was much more private than the other cabins and the view couldn't be beat. Loved that the cabin had absolutely everything we needed and space was used so efficiently. We loved the deck, fire pit, pier, and the use of canoes/kayaks. It was perfect and Big Kitten/ Wildcat are beautiful and wild.
