Make Manitowish Waters your next getaway—choose from 19 great vacation rentals

When Wisconsin locals hear the term “Up North,” they think of pristine lakes, sun-dappled forests, and quiet solitude. It’s a broad colloquial term, and some folks can’t agree exactly where the dividing line to “North” begins, but the response is always the same: nostalgia for easy days spent lakeside in northern Wisconsin. Our Manitowish Waters vacation rentals are a perfect example of this.

Everything was wonderful during our stay. Very clean, super comfy beds, and great location. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wifi didn't work, other then that small issue the property was perfect.

This house on Spider Lake was the perfect place to create memories with our children, their partners, our new grandchild and my 92 year old mother. The location, the floor plan, the view, the cleanliness and the attention to detail all combined to make our family retreat very special indeed.
