The cabin was clean upon arrival. It is about 10-15 min from all the actives. There are some mom and pop restraunts up the road. Give them a try they are great. It is very peaceful when in the cabin listening to the ditch of water run.. There is no phone service so you get to spend all the time together. There was internet but it did not work while we where there.

This cabin is very quaint, nestled between two steep hillsides. A creek runs alongside, almost under the house itself. A catwalk traverses the creek onto the covered front porch. The entire area is secluded, with low traffic and dense brush. There is limited space for cars, but they installed a small turn around / parking area on the shoulder across the street that helps a lot.
We enjoyed our stay as well as the ability to have our pups with us. The jacuzzi tub is a neat feature and the upstairs loft adds some extra space. A hot tub was one of our search requirements, besides being dog friendly. It did not disappoint. Also included is a ROKU streaming device that allows guests to log in to Netflix and Hulu. The cabin definitely has a lot of charm, and is in a good proximity to many local attractions. The nearby town of Wears Valley has a lot of character and what feels like more of a "soul" than Pigeon Forge or Sevierville. Luckily, "Wild At Heart" is located on the very edge of both.
There were two of us and our dogs for our stay. We had a few problems, most of which were minor. Our biggest surprise was that the water from the faucet contains minerals and sediment that we did not anticipate. We acquired bottle water for the duration of our stay. Another problem was the high humidity inside of the cabin. It rained all day our first full day there, and our clothes did not dry during that entire time, even while laid out on racks. There is not a washer and dryer, either, which was also fairly inconvenient. Also, visitors that like to cook should be aware that there is limited counter / dining table space when planning meals. The cabin, though small, feels very big thanks to its high vaulted ceiling.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit "Wild at Heart" with its unique charm again. Thanks for having us!

We booked this cabin for our honeymoon and it was so great. Perfect amount of space for 2 people and the hot tub and whirlpool tub were definitely highlights! Easy to get to everything and so easy to book!

Cabin was great location and very secluded for our base camp for the week. We rode our motorcycles on all the great roads through the mountains, it was great!

My family, dog included, stayed here this past week. The cabin looks just like the pictures and was very clean. WiFi and even a Roku TV! I loved it because it felt very isolated because of how it is positioned in the trees, but it’s a 3 minute drive from a major road with restaurants and gas stations and about a 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge with a ton of touristy stuff. It’s also a 30 minute drive from Great Smoky Mountains National Park which was gorgeous and I highly recommend visiting if you stay here. The only thing to note, and most reviews mentioned this, is it does use well water so if the smell and taste bother you, just buy some water from a gas station or grocery store. But don’t let that deter you, the place is an awesome home base for all the attractions near by while also offering some very cozy privacy!

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful and secluded cabin for a long weekend getaway. Although we spent most of our time outdoors in the park area, we felt very at home here. We would not hesitate to return.

We loved the Seclusion that it offered. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a bear outside underneath the back deck one morning. This place definitely is a must!

We absolutely loved this place. It was so peaceful. The only problem was the upstairs for the pool table was a little bit to small to have a pool table in. It was hard to play because of the walls and my husband kept hitting his head on the rapters lol he is really tall tho. Other than that we had a great time getting away for a couple days.

Nice and quiet. Not right next to anyone. Close to everything

The cabin was just as showed. Perfect for a couple. The pool table is wobbly and has no chalk. But we still played a few games. The light in the hot tub does not work but the porch light does. The fireplace timer does not cut-off. So our romantic fire that should have lasted an hour while we went to sleep, stayed on for hours. We woke up roasting! It took hours for the cabin to cool back down. Our fault for leaving it going I guess. Just know, turn it off before going to sleep. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and just what we were looking for. We would stay again.

The cabin was in a great location, close to the attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet; very clean and well stocked; only missing a star because the house was not built for the winter temps; but the hot tub was an awesome plus!
Hi Ashley, we're so glad to hear that you had a good stay in our home! We apologize for the home not heating to a comfortable temperature during your stay. We hope to host you again soon!

I just returned from a stay at Wild at Heart and I was completely satisfied with our accommodations. We arrived and ordered some groceries from Publix who had no trouble finding the place. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend and the beautiful hot tub with rain bouncing off the tin roof melted all of our stress away and washed it down the small but pleasant-sounding stream that glides beside the cabin. We enjoyed playing pool and just chilling out on the front and back porches. I took the dog for a nice stroll up and down the road in front and enjoyed identifying the different fauna that surrounds. We had a great weekend!
