If you’re a golfer, there are several world-class courses nearby such as Arizona National Golf Club, seven and a half miles, in the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains, a topnotch course amongst giant Saguaro cactus with terrific views. Hikers will have many options such as Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park, and many trails to choose from in all of the surrounding mountain ranges. If you’re a birder you’ll know that Southeastern Arizona is a premier birding area, with many endemic birds to add to your list. Downtown Tucson, 11 miles for vibrant nightlife, award-winning restaurants, the Tucson Museum of Art, and great shopping.
