Really loved this place! We chose it mainly because it’s pet-friendly. It’s quiet, surrounded by tall trees, & we even saw deer wandering around (they weren’t close but still visible). It was magical to me!! The cabin is very well maintained & clean. We spent 2 nights here during winter but the heater in the home kept us happy. We cooked & utilized their fully equipped kitchen but we were not able to use the oven. It seems that the oven had been recently cleaned and was not properly aired our because it had a very strong chemical smell. But using the oven is usually a plus & not worth deducting any stars. We still enjoyed our stay! There is a convenience store a short drive away. Pizza places deliver to the house...the beds are big and super comfortable. Lots of natural sunlight in the morning...Honestly, nothing to complain about :) We hope to be able to rent this place in the future again!

This cabin was extremely clean and very comfortable. Location was good and amenities were sufficient. I would definitely recommend for a family or a few couples, plus it is pet-friendly. We would definitely rent it again!

What a lovely cabin in the woods. Everything was as shown in the photos. A great location. Exceptionally clean and a fabulous spot. Thank you so much!

Place very clean, a propane bbq included that wasn’t in the listing. Had amazing wifi since our a T-Mobile phones don’t work in Arnold.
The cabin got really hot upstairs in the late afternoons, and really hard to cool it down, and open the old windows.
The mattresses could use a changing as they are severely worn out.

The cabin has a good sized yard, but is on quite a busy corner. We were worried about our dog getting loose. We jury-rigged a gate to keep her on the deck. It would have been great to have some comfortable furniture to take advantage of the deck; all we had was folding chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked and the appliances worked well. Our only serious complaint is how little support there was from the rental agency.
Manager response:
Hi Katie. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had a difficult time getting in touch with us during your stay. Since the pandemic, our calls and emails have been heavily impacted. We are working diligently to getting back to assisting our guests in a more timely manner. We do hope that we have another chance in the future to impress you!

We loved the beautiful cabin, but it was extremely hot without any air conditioning and only two ceiling fans very high up on the vaulted ceilings, and one tiny plug-in fan. It was 100 degrees during our stay, and we couldn't sleep or get comfortable during our stay. My baby had to sleep in her diaper and all our children were sweating and unhappy during the stay. On the listing it states under the amenities as "heating & cooling" so I assumed there would be some sort of cooling. While we loved the cabin and location and everything else, it was absolutely not stay-able in the hot months, and there needs to be something cautioning renters of the heat! Also, we tried emailing Vacasa twice during our stay without any reply. The first email was asking about A/C or a solution to the heat, and the second email was asking what to do with the garbage bags (as there were no dumpsters outside or in the neighborhood, and we couldn't leave the trash bags outside or else wild animals would get to them -so they sat stinking inside the cabin). We were disappointed by the lack of response by Vacasa during our stay.
Manager response:
Hi, Aria.Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that our services didn't meet your expectations. Ensuring each guest has a pleasant experience is important to us. We hope we have the opportunity to impress you in the future.

My dog Jake and I enjoyed our stay in this cute home located in the quiet subdivision Meadowmont. After being home bound due to COVID it was the perfect getaway. The house was clean and had everything I needed.
