We were so glad to find this little cabin to spend some time away from the smoke and the city! The gas woodstove was great and the loft adequate for two adults under six feet. The kitchen was cozy and had most basic kitchen needs covered, including pots, pans, dishes and glassware, with a few cooking utensils. However, as other guests have pointed out, there are no baking sheets provided! Luckily, we planned ahead and brought our own.
The neighborhood is woodsy and quiet. Although we found it easy to find and thought parking was reasonable, if you're bringing two vehicles larger than a RAV4, you'll find it impossible to park.
All in all, we were quite happy with our "Stay Near" vacation!

The cabin worked perfect. For the caliber of cabin, it was very clean and comfortable. Fortunately, I didn’t find a single spider in the cabin and that was after having the windows open each night. Great location, great nearby salmon fishing, nice local neighbors, etc.

The home was very clean, and so cozy! Wish the parking space was a tad bigger but we made it work in our large pickup.

Thimbleberry Cabin was a delight! The total size of the cabin was perfect for two. The full kitchen with added appliances like an electric kettle lets us buy groceries and make most meals at home conveniently. The couch and love seat were super comfortable and entertainment was a breeze with a Roku-enabled HDTV. The remote-controlled wood stove was a nice touch to add a little warmth when the temps dipped. One big bonus was the location of the cabin that allowed us to explore lakes and trails in the Mt Hood National Forest and make a day visit to Hood River. Overall a special place to find tranquility and we hope to visit the cabin again soon.

The inside of the cabin is most certainly clean, adorable, and cozy. The tiny feel to the cabin isn't overwhelming or suffocating. The home is located very close to the highway with noise from cars easily heard inside the house with windows open. The neighborhood has a lot of shanty style, even some abandoned, homes. The 'driveway' is very small and tight, larger trucks will have to do some careful turning in and backing out. Our largest complaint would be the lack of responsiveness from Vacasa. We texted them as they requested be the method of contact but never heard back and getting through to them on the phone proved impossible. The kitchen is missing a spatula, a baking sheet and any oil. The home is cozy though, we probably would not come back but we did enjoy our time there.
Thank you for providing feedback, Kaitlin. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed this cabin and apologize for any delay in assistance while we experience a high volume of calls and texts. We hope to better assist you in the near future!

Our family of 4 loved quality time together in front of the gas fireplace and on the front patio.

We booked it for a quick night trip to meadows and it was perfect. After a night of snowboarding it was a cozy little place to return to. Close to the mountain and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Location is perfect for a ski trip and also for hiking in summer. Near to the slopes and to restaurants and shops. Great that it's really under the trees. And well isolated. Both warmth and sounds. Nice decorated. And well equipped. Not big but perfect for 2.
