Walk to lifts
Beautiful location. Quiet and just all around nice. Easily accessible and right next to the lifts. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation in Brianhead.
Great location, clean, comfortable, everything you could ask for.
Came in at the end of a winter storm. Had a voice mail when we got off the plane letting us know the details and to be mindful. Great people. Will absolutely be back!
We loved the whole experience. The close proximity to Giant Steps Lift. Will definately book again.
Great location next to slopes! Clean throughout, easy entry. Comfy beds and lots of heaters!
The condo and the common areas were very clean and comfortable. Some condos up there don't have very clean common areas but Brianwood was great. You felt safe and comfortable.
The condo was very clean and had all the comforts of home.
Easy access nice room could have used a/c. However, nice breezes kept it comfortable. Definately re booking for next yr.
Great little place for the 3 of us and the pup!
Needs more hooks. That's all!
I absolutely loved the bed and pillows. Had a great nights sleep. Condo is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and perfect location, within walking distance to The Giant Steps Chair Lift. Also, I was offered a late checkout for a very reasonable fee so I got to ski another day. Would definitely stay there again!
This is a studio with full kitchen. The bunkbed is hidden off to the right when you walk in. My seven year slept in the bottom and his uncle slept on the top bunk. Everyone slept comfortably. The king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed it for the price.
This was a cozy little room my wife and I enjoyed. Its a little dated, but we was there to enjoy the Brianhead.
Pros next to the blue lifts and a short walk down a parking lot to the slopes dining area. The room was very neat and clean and with all the necessary items to cook with. It was a pretty view from our 2nd floor room. This was a very quite building and we enjoyed the peace. We got lost and called management. They was very prompt in returning our call.
Cons the room heat was a bit tricky to adjust. It got too hot our 1st night, then we just left it a bit colder the following nights. There was no elevators, which i normally don't mind. But my wife hurt her knee skiing and it was a bit hard on her getting up and down to the 2nd floor. The front entrance of the room is carpet. They ask for you to remove your shoes before entering the room. I like this, but theres no place to sit outside of the room to easily remove your gear prior to entering. This leads to there is no area to store skis or snowboards. Being on the 2nd floor we just left them on the back patio and use a board lock to secure them. Otherwise the ice on the equipment will melt onto the carpet. I recommend tiling the front up to the bathroom. NO covered parking, so prepare accordingly. We had to scrape our window in the morning.
Yes for a ski in ski out room i would definitely stay again booking early preseason rate for skiing. I may look for facility with more amenities, if i was to book a last minute stay during Jan to Mar for skiing.
Really cozy and convienient place for two and a dog!
The condo is very cozy--great for a couple or a family with one or two children. I did a lot of cooking while we were there, and the kitchen is very well stocked (crock pot, mixer, blender, toaster, pots, pans...). There was also plenty of big, fluffy towels and the bed was uber comfy!
The noise from neighbors was noticeable but not horrible. It seems that the unit right above does not have carpet, so you hear a lot of noise from normal walking (and it seemed that the occupants were always wearing ski boots from the sounds of their footfalls). Fortunately, we only heard them while were up and about, so it wasn't a problem.
Other reviews listed a problem with the heater, but we had absolutely no problems. It was nice and toasty. The hot water is limited, so you shouldn't plan on taking a long, hot shower after a day of skiing. It's enough for one person to take a normal shower. Two is pushing it.
The only thing that was a disappointment is that we were expecting a DVD player, as the description lists one. We brought a lot of movies to watch during our down time but, alas, there was no DVD player. The WiFi does not reach the condo (which was clearly explained in the description), so we were unable to stream movies. But we survived ;-)
Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. With the exception of the DVD, it was exactly as expected.
We apologize for the error in the listing regarding the DVD player. The unit does not have one, and we have since updated the home description to reflect that. Thanks!
Nice condo, everything we needed for a pleasant stay
The unit was nice and convenient
Overall we loved the place - the location was fantastic as we could ski right up to the door. A great family vacation.
Great place up the mountain. A convenient location near the building entrance with a pretty view. Don't forget to stop by the big store on the way there, returning to wal-mart means close to two hours of roundtrip travel, local general store is available, but selection is limited. There are evening tickets available ($20 per person) for a lift (singular) on Friday and Saturday night, but those slopes are for more advanced skiers, if you are uncomfortable with initially steep slope, stick to the beginner area and work up the difficulty curve. Nearby Georg's Ski Shop does not charge for the first day after 3PM (if you ask nicely) meaning that if you can enjoy the evening slopes or be ready bright and early.
Snow off the road can be very deep, so be careful about sledding down some amazing hill, it will take a lot of cursing to get back up :-)
Overall a great weekend spent skiing. Great place to rest up and eat while not enjoying the snow outside. Hope you enjoy your time as much as we did.
The room was equipped with all needed materials for the kitchen, wifi and television. Was quaint and cozy we were excited to stay!
Then midnight / 2:00am rolled around and the people above us were still up and moving all over. Walls were so thin we got no sleep. So many thumps throughout the night (surprising anyone who stayed there had any energy to ski or snowboard).
Another complaint was the shared SPA. Would have been nice but there were kids in it all of the time. Some supervised and some not. They treated it like a pool so we're running around and jumping in and out. Hardly was what we wanted after hitting the slopes.
Overall it was a great place or the idea / first impression was but we quickly found out it was not relaxing and went home a night early.
We are sorry to see other guests made this stay less enjoyable; we will speak with the HOA about this guest's experience.
Great location, clean, pet friendly, kitchen stocked with dishes and appliances. With a new shower head, this place would be perfect. Vacasa staff were fantastic with our last minute booking--thanks!
Great value. Very clesn, has everything you need for 2-3 people comfortably. We have stayed 2 different times now and will stay again.
We would stay again due to our experience. Good location, clean, perfect for the price.
Great location nice bed and very clean. Nice and quiet with a lovely view as well. Can't wait to come back!
Clean, quite, and walking distance to Giant Steps. What more could you ask for?
My husband and I enjoyed our stay overall. I wish we would have had the DVD player because we planned a relaxing trip and had to spend a significant amount of time trying to play the movies. The room unfortunately smelled like fireplace smoke because someone left the window open. Otherwise the place was clean and comfortable. We even brought our dogs and they loved it. Thanks for the good times and memories!
This spot was perfect for a weekend getaway with a few friends!! Walking distance to Giant Steps which was very convenient for activities!
Good property for the price. Great location right next to the slopes!
Very pleased with the condo. Clean, enough room and had everything we needed. Nice view from the balcony. Close walk to the Giant Steps Lodge! We would definitely stay here again.
The property was clean and convenient. There wasn't enough hot water at night to bathe the entire family though. It would have been nice to have covered parking but all things considered it was a great property.
Great location, I skied to the condo at days end and even for lunch one day. The place was clean and our dog enjoyed the deck. We had to ask for the door entry code and call for the wireless password.
Studio was a perfect place to stay with a family. Lots of room for everyone and kitchen was large. Would stay here again.
This was a great property and location to hike and have a lot of fun outdoors during the summer. Very clean and great all around.
