The Living Space:
With its classic wood interior, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, and vintage ski and mountain decor, this ski-in/ski-out Snowmass chalet is the perfect way to celebrate your winter vacation. The living room features rustic furniture and lustrous floors, and the corner couch will be a joy to snuggle up in while you catch up on a favorite mystery novel or a good game on the mounted cable TV.

In the center of the living room, the fireplace has hearths on either side of a column-chimney, making it easy for guests to warm themselves while at the dining table, which will comfortably seat up to six. The kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and lots of great cookware. Off the dining area, you'll also find a small bathroom.

The Bedrooms:
Downstairs, the main bedroom offers a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and access to a small back patio and walkway leading around the building. The second bedroom also includes an en-suite bath, plus two twins, and views of the resort through large windows. Just off the living room, the private loft features a set of two adorable twin beds, perfect for the little ones.

Winter Activities:
Winter in Aspen is unlike anything you’ve experienced before! In addition to a wide range of chutes, steeps, and glades, each with its own unique features and challenges, Snowmass also has plenty of black and double-black diamond runs to test the advanced-to-extreme snow enthusiast - that’s over 1,000 acres reserved for expert skiers! Set nine-and-a-half miles from Aspen, Snowmass Village is a wonderful ski area with a culture all its own. With illuminated interactive art exhibits and walkways to enjoy, plus fine dining restaurants, boutique shops, an ice skating rink, live music, and cabaret shows, the village is a truly magical winter experience!

Summer Activities:
In addition to the hiking, biking, and fly fishing available nearby, our guests can explore all kinds of fantastic outdoor adventures at places like The Lost Forest right at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola, where you can race through the treetops with Canopy Run Zipline Tours, plummet 400 feet on Breathtaker Coaster, and challenge yourself with a thrilling climb on the Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall. You’ll even have disc golf and guided nature tours available whenever you want a better look at the majesty of Snowmass.

Parking Notes: A parking pass is required and will be provided upon check-in via the front desk. Parking is limited, only 1 pass is provided per reservation. All vehicles must be registered with the front desk and have a parking permit displayed on the dash. Guests are urged to use their assigned parking spot. Please notify the front desk if there is a problem parking in your assigned spot. If the assigned space is in the garage, you may request an automatic door activator from the front desk. In the event of loss or damage, you will be charged a $25 replacement fee.

Vacasa had the nicest people to work with, from calling to research my options to the second we checked out. Brooke (from Florida) helped me (in Colorado) find a condo in our budget during peak fall color season. We liked the unit I chose from a layout and location standpoint but the interior finishes were pretty worn out and the kitchen was only partially stocked with marginal dishes and mostly mismatched pieces. I thought the sofas and pillows and bedding were a little dirty and worn and could use an update. The fireplace was a delight however. We had it roaring morning and night and loved the crackle with more wood than we could ever use on our porch.
We had 5 people stay in what was labeled as a 3 bedroom but really was 2 bedrooms and a loft which was too central and loud to serve as a private room for sleeping. With the two twin daybeds in the loft, there was about 18” of walking space in an L shape that made for a tight spot for anything.
All in all, it was fine, not extravagant but not a dive either. I would go back and stay in a different unit if I knew the finishes were upgraded. This was affordable and pretty much what I expected for the price.
