Just four blocks away is Forsyth Park, the largest park in Savannah's historic district and a popular social gathering for locals and visitors alike. Also within walking distance are several restaurants and bus stops.
When you enter this home, you'll have to walk up 18 steps to reach the main level. With gorgeous hardwood floors throughout, the home features a living room with tons of natural lighting and plenty of seating space. There's also a mounted 49 inch flatscreen TV for you to check the weather. In case you need to check your work email or social media, there's WiFi too.
The nearby kitchen is decorated in black appliances and oak cabinetry, providing an air of distinction to the space. The kitchen is open, so you'll never feel cramped, and access to the dishwasher means that you won't have to worry so much about cleanup. A four-person dining room table sits near the living room.
With two bedrooms and one bathroom, this home is able to sleep up to six guests. Both of the bedrooms contain queen-size beds and nightstands. One of the bedrooms is painted a sky blue while the other is sunflower yellow - both of which are perfect pick-me-up colors. The yellow room especially has a lot of natural lighting and a large closet. A queen-size sofabed in the living room provides additional sleeping space.
The bathroom is spacious enough that no one will have to fight over it, and it includes a shower/tub combination. A washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board are provided for guests' additional convenience. You'll also have central A/C, and don't forget that for a nightly pet fee, you're welcome to bring your dogs along!
To get your day started, you can head out to the side balcony and take a moment to sit back on the relaxing furniture. Perhaps you can prepare for the day here as you sip on your coffee, considering a trip to Tybee Island, where you can surf and kayak and experience the beaches of Georgia.
The River Street district along the Savannah River is another place where you can experience the bodies of water in the city. Here, you can take an evening riverboat cruise, or simply browse around myriad galleries, restaurants, and boutiques.

The home is nice....I would give it 5 stars but the it was way too noisy. Too much traffic noise...After a long day of fun and or driving, I would like a good nights sleep....
The location is great. Less than a mile to historic savannah. House was just as described.
In general, the house was Ok. Clean in general, the rooms were fine and the kitchen had the basic tools, but no sugar, salt, coffee or anything else.
The toilet flush lever was broken and no assistance was given during any of the three days we stayed there.
Something to know if you're traveling with kids or elders is that when you open the door, you see these big and steep stairs. I was traveling with an elder and she was very afraid of going up and down the stairs, and of getting too close to the stairs by mistake as they were very close to the kitchen.
The house was in a walkable distance to restaurants and parks, but the house is noisy as it is located on the main avenue, you here cars, buses, music, etc..
The location is not horrible, however not being able to adjust the AC even with all the fans on was not cool (literally).. the television gives few channels, and it’s hard to sleep with the thin walls and roaring vehicles on the roads. What’s great is the location, the house itself sleeps 6 and there’s still room for air matresses. Not a horrible price if you divide it amoung the number of guests.
We appreciate this guest bringing the air conditioning to our attention and will get it taken care of. We will look to see if we have any options to help reduce road noise. Thank you!
We loved the large rooms and cold AC! Bathroom was very clean too!
We really enjoyed the stay. The home was very cozy and had everything to accommodate a traveling family. It was very clean and did not have an odor!! The area was a little iffy at first however, everyone was very friendly. I would definitely utilize these facilities again! Thank you Vacasa, see you again soon!!
The bedrooms were huge and comfortable. The location of the house was perfect. It was close to every activity that we had planned. Parking was not an issue at all. The next time we visit Savannah, we hope to book this same location.
There were s lot of a
amenities missing. It was a nice enough place and good location but for the money we were a little disappointed.
This is a great rental. It's a cute space and has everything you need. The location is great, a short walk to Forsyth Park including an awesome coffee shop/restaurant (Sentient Bean) and health grocery shop.
The one draw back I want to mention though is this isn't a good rental for light sleepers. Both bedrooms get a lot of road noise from both streets (at all times of night and day) and the larger of the two bedrooms is blindingly bright in the morning. You will be up as soon as the sun is.
However, if you are a good sleeper this place is really nice.
A group of us girls came here to celebrate a birthday for the weekend and we could not have chose a better place to stay for the price! The house was so cute and exactly like the pictures. It was vary spacious. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely consider staying here again for our next trip to savannah.
Great place for a short term stay in Savannah. Sleeps 5 adults comfortably and 6 if you have kids. Furnishings were nice and location was perfect for walking to the park. Bus stop was not an issue with us but you do hear the road traffic because it's a very busy street and at a stoplight. Bring a noise maker for sleep and you won't even know it's there. If owner puts up light darkening curtains in the bedrooms you will sleep great otherwise, when the sun comes up, you are awakened with extreme brightness in both bedrooms. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens were available for 6 people.
Was a very nice place to spend time while a tourist in and around Savannah. Good location, good place to stay.
Comforts of home and reasonably priced. If you're looking for plush, this isn't the place. But great value. Close to the historic district and just a quick hop on "the Dot", Savannah's free shuttle buses, to about anywhere you'd like to go. Great food city. Seek out the spots locals eat.
Great little place in a good location. Friendly and responsive management. Noisy at night due to high traffic area. Overall we loved it and felt safe.
Great place to stay. 1.7 miles from river. Noisy traffic at night and in a bit of a sketchy area but overal pretty good.
Beautiful apartment, great location. Would rent again. Have already suggested it to friends.
We were disappointed with the location. While still in the historic district as advertised, I suppose, the street it was on was pretty sketchy. While the building our unit was in was nicely rehabbed, those next to it and across the street could fairly be described as blighted. There was trash on the street. We'd have been nervous about walking it at night. Fortunately in just another block north you're in a much nicer area. While one can walk from the address to the Savannah sites downtown, it is a long walk, so you need to be fit for it, especially in weather as hot and humid as we encountered. The unit was not as clean as it should have been, and some walls were needing touch-up. In sum, for the price we paid we expected better. Also, we had a bad experience with the alarm. We were able to reach someone after a while who advised us on how to deal with that.
The home was very clean, but the AC was not turned on prior to arrival. It was 96 degrees inside when we got there at 6:30pm and it did not cool down to below 80 degrees until after 11pm. Granted, Savannah was super hot, but I still think they should have made sure the home was comfortable for arriving guests.
All the basics were there, but only the basics. If you are planning on cooking you will need to bring everything with you except the pots and pans.
The overall experience using Vacasa was a good one. Booking was easy. We had all the info we needed for check in and check out and both went smoothly. The home was very clean. We would use Vacasa again, just not this particular property. We wouldn't stay in this particular property again because of the location and the noise. We did not feel the safest in this area. Also, no one in our party was able to sleep very well because we could hear everything that was going on outside- ambulances, cars going by, etc.
Good location, close the parks and the historic squares.
Enjoyed the stay no complaints
This was great a condo to celebrate my birthday. Very spacious rooms with all the necessay amenities. It's very close to Forsyth Park but it is about a 30 minute walk to River Street. I would stay here again especially for the price.
Loved the house, it was perfect for my family on a last minute spring break getaway. The location was excellent, it was really close to downtown but also not to far from Tybee Island. I felt like I was centered from any direction that I wanted to go.
I give this place a 10 out of 10 the rooms were comfy and it was the best home away from home getaway. I would recommend it but bring a eye mask to sleep. Cant wait to stay here again.
We rented from HomeAway, simply because there was a price difference between them and AirBNB. We arrived and the place could've used a little more cleaning. There was dust and dirt under the easily movable furniture. The place sleeps six, and states there are towels and linens available;however, there were only 4 towels for our party of 5 (and one was dirty.) The linens provided was one set of sheets for the futon and a light blanket that was also dirty when we arrived. There should've been a heavier blanket provided for sleeping. There were very limited kitchen items (I.e.no pitcher for drinks) and the ones there should be replaced. The whisk had apparently been caught in the garbage disposal, so I used the blender to mix our pancake batter in, turns out it had been melted and had a hole in the lid. The location is convenient to Forsyth park, which we love, but beware if you're a light sleeper, you are right at a bus stop and it goes ALL NIGHT LONG! The window coverings are poor and offered little help from the Peking House light that stays in all night shining in the main bedroom window. The "balcony" if hilarious, my son walked out to check it out and it is about 2 actual feet from the living room window of the neighbors, they promptly closed their window, lol.
I absolutely love Savannah and have been more times than I can count, but we would not stay back at this location for this price. Considering the space, lack of luster of the interior, you have to park on the street, the noise, poor housekeeping, we should've been able to steal this place at half the price. I wouldn't have been so upset, had we not paid so much for THIS place.
We really enjoyed our mini Spring Break here. Would definitely stay at this property again. Liked it was close enough to downtown but not IN downtown. The proximity to Forsyth Park was more important and an easy walk around the corner!
This property was great for our family of 4. We were in town for 2 days and had never been to Savannah before. It is literally 1 mile and a 5 minute drive from the downtown Savannah historic district and River Street; and even closer to Forsyth Park which was just down the street... The place itself was perfect for us- two bedrooms and a futon in the living area that folds into a comfortable bed. It was very clean upon arrival and even had a few essentials- toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc... The area of town was fine and again very convenient to downtown Savannah. The only negative about the place is that it is on busy street corner and you can hear the cars go by throughout all hours of the night. Bring your ear plugs and some white noise and you'll be set.
Enjoyed the stay, loved that I could bring my pet. Very comfortable and really felt like home. Would definitely stay again. We walked to Forsyth park every day we were there.
Nice place to stay, but a little noisy in the evening as it is on a busy street corner.
Very nice apartment, great communication and very nice they accommodated to our dog ! For the most part great location--Mostly walked everywhere which is about a mile away.
This was truly a perfect rental for our much-needed getaway to beautiful Savannah. If/when we return, we will likely request to rent this property again!
The unit was very well appointed and appears most items were very to brand new. They made great efforts to rectify our issues. The description and reviews were correct that the outside noise didn't have much of a buffer on the inside, but it is a historic home and should be expected. The noise does fade into the background and we had no trouble sleeping or with any other issues. The house is perfect for pets with the hardwood floors and leather furnishings. Street parking was no issue and we were always front row.
Nice place. Very convenient location
WE picked this place because Pet Friendly and near the park. We are not used to city noise thus the low review for the property. If I knew it was so noisy we would have picked another property. The house sits on a corner so you get traffic from both busy roads. It is also next to a bus stop- where the bus stops at all hours of the night. We did not get any sleep the first night. We moved to a different location for the 2nd night. Its about 1.5 mile walk into town from here to the River. If you stay here BRING EAR PLUGS and you should be fine.
