Bask in the style of the 1960s while enjoying modern conveniences at this charming Estes Park vacation rental. You and your loved ones will enjoy easy access to all of the city's outdoor attractions, not to mention on-site amenities including a private washer/dryer, a wood fireplace, cable TV, and free WiFi.
This vacation rental is located on a quiet road just outside of town, offering seclusion and privacy while still being less than three miles from the shops and restaurants of downtown Estes Park. Lake Estes is one mile north and offers pontoon boat rentals, fishing, and stand-up paddleboarding. In addition, you're just a few miles from hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park.
The house itself was built in 1960, and the period charm remains apparent through the home. The kitchen maintains a lovely retro vibe, although the appliances have been updated, so it's no trouble at all to cook up a quick dinner for your group. In the evenings, retire to the wraparound porch with a glass of wine or a mug of tea and bask in the crisp air while you admire the mountain views. On cold evenings, get cozy around the wood-burning fire while you browse the cable channels, play board games with your loved ones, or use the free WiFi to stay connected with friends back home.

My best friend and our husbands loved our stay here. The space was very spacious and comfortably fit the 4 of us. The deck was a great place to relax and unwind after an active day. The best thing about this place was the AMAZING mountain views!! The house was also conveniently located near shopping, rental places, and beautiful Estes Park. Our only complaint was that the house was located right on a busy street with construction which took away from the seclusion and wildnerness feel a bit but definitely didn’t spoil the amazing views I mentioned!
The view from this home is lovely and the local wildlife considers it their private domain. There were elk and deer in the yard every day. Great get away!!
We loved our stay here! The kitchen was great for cooking, bathrooms modern and updated, everything was very clean, and great location. Thanks!
My 19 year old son & I stayed in this fabulous house for 3 nights and HATED to leave it! It has all of the old charm of your grandmother's untouched 1960s house without the smell of mothballs or an inefficient kitchen! The house is roomy & uncluttered. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and everything was *clean* and appeared to be new. The appliances are all new, top notch Kitchen Aid - the dishwasher was quieter than mine at home -- and the bathrooms are equally newly equipped. The 2nd bathroom is on the small side but perfectly usable, and the master bathroom was really lovely and well done. Shower pressure and temp were great. The beds in the 2 main bedrooms (we didn't use the one in which the daybed sits) were incredibly comfortable, and the linens were nice. The den is very large & open and lent itself well to activities in several different areas at once. Our favorite "room," though, was the front porch, where the view of the Rockies was awesome. The ONLY thing missing from this house is a porch swing, hammock, or some other comfy place to sit outside (though there is a picnic table & several resin Adirondack chairs). The house is approximately 20 min from Rocky Mountain National Park and 5 minutes from the quaint town of Estes Park. We loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat!
Comfortable home that fit 4 adults, a toddler and a baby just fine. It had everything we needed and our Estes stay very memorable.
The house was very clean and looks exactly like the pics. The view from the wraparound porch was nice, we even saw a herd of elk our last day there. The house is located maybe 5 mins from downtown Estes Park and about 10 mins from Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable for our family. Great location close to RMNP. View of mountains was awesome. Close to town for shops, eats, Riverwalk. We packed a lot into our time and it was great to be close by to rest. Thanks for a great stay!
The house was everything that was described plus more we had elk across the street every day and mile deer in the front yard. We will be staying again.
This was a cute house for a weekend getaway.
Great view off the porch of the Rockies. Good access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park without being crowded. Beautiful lot and smart décor in retro fashion. Well equipped kitchen. Vacasa staff at 800 number very helpful when we had trouble getting in lock box. (I had forgotten to go past the 1st letter before going stopping on the 2nd.) A sign in the laundry closet said the washer and dryer were not working. Both bathrooms' toilet seats were loose. There were not enough pillow cases stocked. Backup lock box had no key.
Amazing property, half comfy vacation home and half time machine to 1965. Built with period master craftsmanship and materials, and recently remodeled with all the modern conveniences. Thanks for sharing this home with us!
This home was beautiful and comfy! Loved the retro vibe from the furniture to the glasses. It was nice to enjoy a cozy crackling fire in fireplace in evening. Gorgeous views! Great location with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and entertainment and Rocky Mountain National Park. Can't wait to come back and stay longer!!!
Lovely home, perfect for a long weekend getaway to the mountains. The property was spacious and wooded with great views of the mountains in the distance. The interior was clean, comfortable, and adorably decorated. The large porch made for a great spot to gather and enjoy the mountain air. We would definitely recommend to others and return for future visits!
So many Elk on the Golf Course!!
Loved the ambience, the windows, the views, the character...everything about this place!
We LOVED our stay at this cabin. It has obviously been recently renovated; there are all the modern amenities you could want (brand-new appliances) and the mid-century modern details are really great. Our group of 4 adults plus a toddler were all very comfortable during our 5-night stay. We enjoyed coffee on the huge porch/balcony every morning as we watched a group of elk eat their way along the riverbank across the street. And we gathered around the table in the living room every evening for games and cocktails. My only regret is that we never had made a fire in the fireplace to have s'mores but next time. . . It's a place we hope to return to in the future!
Conveniently located. Easy to get in and out of. Comfortable feel inside. Nice balcony and view. Private. Nice amount of space, new appliances and fixtures, nice remodeling work. Worked great for my wife, our three teen daughters, and I. We would definitely reserve this again.
